Denzel exhaled slowly.

’My body still kind of aches... I guess I’m still slightly recovering from the stress of last night. I spent quite some time with Maria... mmm.’

A quiet, satisfied thought lingered as he dragged a palm down his face, trying to shake off the lingering fatigue.

’It felt really good being with her... maybe I should give her some more back shots this morning to get her going, right? Hehe.’

Denzel’s eyes widened instantly.

Denzel leaned back a little, eyes widening as he processed it.

"Wow... yeah. Is this for real?"

He stared at the floating screen as though it might vanish if he blinked too hard.

’Is this really just from completing quests? If it keeps going like this...’

His thoughts sharpened immediately.

’Wait... I’ve got 15 mana now. That means I can actually utilize my skill alot more than before.’

He slowly clenched his fist, sensing the subtle shift within his body—the quiet presence of something new, something stronger.

A brief pause lingered in his mind.

He exhaled and shook his head slightly, grounding himself.

’Well... I’ve been idling for too long. No need to rush things. Just go with the flow... like I did with... Maria.’

His gaze sharpened as he studied the status interface.

"So I’ve got 50 taboo points... where’s the best place to put them?" He muttered to himself as he gently ran a hand through his hair, thinking to himself.

’Last time I invested in strength... it really paid off. With 30 strength stats, I could perform all of Aisha’s task with utter ease. I barely even felt the strain afterward.’

He flexed his hand lightly at the memory.

’So what now... do I keep stacking strength? Or start spreading it out to other stats?’

His eyes narrowed slightly as he weighed the possibilities.

’If I’m being honest... brute strength isn’t what’s going to carry me through this world. I’ve already met monsters like that guy, Patrick.’

His expression darkened for a moment.

He exhaled sharply.

Again, the system responded immediately, adjusting his stats as instructed.

Denzel watched quietly as the numbers settled, then nodded to himself.

’More sense means I can read situations faster... think my way out before things even escalate. Strength will still let me finish things when I need to. And with agility... I can keep up with anyone fast enough to threaten me.’

A moment of silence followed.

He tested his body subtly...tensing, shifting, waiting for something noticeable.

Nothing obvious came.

His brow tightened slightly.

"I don’t really feel any different..."

He muttered under his breath as he pulled up his stat interface.

"Well... all’s well that ends well. What’s done is done. I’ve already allocated the stats, so I’ll just trust that it works out the way I planned."

He let out a slow breath, easing the tension in his shoulders.

’It’ll work out... it has to.’

"All right then... I should make use of my skills when the time comes."

He pushed himself up fully, rolling his shoulders once as if shaking off the last traces of hesitation.

"Since that’s settled, I guess it’s time to head downstairs."

A faint smirk tugged at his lips.

"Maria’s probably waiting for me... along with those watermelon ass of hers."

His eyes narrowed slightly, amusement flickering across his face.

"...Yeah. Let’s go meet the MILF, shall we?"
