’If I can? Damn this bitch is getting on my nerves. What’s with her attitude’ Densel thought

Aisha stood up and led him upstairs and then she entered one of the rooms where a lot of heavy boxes were well arranged.

"This is what you’ll be moving, just carry it outside the house and drop it on the front porch" Aisha spoke

Denzel was quiet for a brief moment

’Is that all’ He thought

"Alright, madam. I’ll get to it" Denzel spoke as he moved over to the side and proceeded to pulling off his shirt

As he was pulling the shirt off, Aisha looked at his direction...

"I didn’t say you could take your cloth-" she paused midway as she saw Denzel’s well toned body

’Oh my...his body...his body is so hot and sexy’ Aisha thought

"What did you say madam" Denzel looked at her and spoke

"Nevermind, get to work now!"

Denzel frowned at her as she left the room.

Aisha’s tone and behaviour since he met her was still stuck in his mind...it was almost like she didn’t take him seriously at all.

’Is that how she talks on a normal day, or just to strangers. What a crazy one’ Denzel thought

’Well, she’s not the reason I came here, no need to dwell on it. I came here for the money, for my two women at home’

Before he proceeded to start working, something hit him as he passed through a mirror in the room, then he paused.

"Wait a minute"

His eyes dropped low, to his own body

And for a moment, he just stood at a stand still, staring in proper amazement.

’This was definitely not how I used to look, not in my old world and not even when U initially came to this world. And its been just a day since I magically spawned here’ Denze thought

His physique and body structure has changed, very noticeably. His shoulders were now much broader, his chest way more defined than he could remember.

The soft edges that he used to have before were gone and now replaced with lean muscle and clean lines.

Even his abs...actual abs, were now fanitly visible after being practically non existent all his life.

Denzel turned around slightly, facing the mirror much better and flexed his arms.

’Seriously...since when did my body get like this’ Denzel thought, still lost in admiration

He let out a quiet and low chuckle, low enough to avoid Aisha’s trouble and then shook his head.

"I can’t explain it but I guess I can’t complain" Denzel spoke

There was a hint of amusement in his face, a small but satisfied smirk forming before he shook it off.

"Alright. Let’s get to work first"

He walked towards the boxes that were stacked in the corner. They boxes were large, clearly heavy and it was definitely not something Aisha would have been able to lift.

So hiring for labour was understandable

He flexed his arms once more, a smile forming on his face

’And yeah, she got the right man for the job. Hehehe’ He thought

Denzel stopped right in front of one of the boxes and bent down to lift one up.

Then, merely on impulse, he grabbed another one and stacked on top of the first one

"Huh?"

He lifted them and the both boxes came up effortlessly.

His eyes widened slightly, surprise flashing across his face.

"No way"

At the realisation, a wide grin spread across his face

"So this is what those strength stats are about. I know before allocating that, there’s no way I would be able to lift both boxes at the same time"

He adjusted his grip on the boxes, and he felt the weight solid, it was solid but manageable, more than manageable even

"Damn...this system isn’t playing around. It’s the real deal, well I already knew it was after Sophia"

"Damn, Maria just had to step in. Can’t wait to be done here and go back to my Sophy. Hehe"

With easy steps, he lifted the boxes and carried out of the room, down the stairs and towards the front porch. Each step he took controlled and almost too easy even with the weight he was lifting.

He then got to the porch and dropped the boxes on the floor with a dull thud.

"That’s the first two done. A couple more to go"

He rolled his shoulders once and flexed his hands once more before turning back towards the stairs

"Let’s finish this"

Trip after trip, box after box, Denzel moved like a machine. He felt no strain, no fatigue. Everything was just smooth and efficient

But halfway through his next run, something clicked to him 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"Wait a minute, come to think of it..."

He stopped midway through his step, a box balanced between his arms.

"I’m getting paid how much for this again?"

He frowned slightly

"All I’ve been doing is just lifting boxes, and I’m getting paid a whooping "

His eyes narrowed in thought of it

"Isn’t this job way too easy to be earning that kind of money?"

’Well, though it sounds fishy, I don’t have to think too much about it. It’s the village chief’s house so nothing fishy should happen’

’I should just get done with the work, get my money and straight back home’

He dropped the boxes and on his way to the room to lift up the last ones left.

And then...

~Ahhhnnnn~

Denzel froze, he had heard it cleanly...a moan

"...?"

The sound came again, much louder this time but quickly silenced

~Ahhnnnnn~

It wasn’t from where he was, it was from the room opposite it

’That’s definitely a moan, but who could it be...only person comes to mind’ Denze thought

’Let me check it out’

He walked towards the room the sound was coming from and the door was slightly open, enough for him to peek through it

He took a peek like everyone would and inside he saw none other than....
