Xiahou Yu nodded. "I see. Our company did develop a small internal program that can block certain malicious attacks. The installation file isn’t on hand, though. I’ll find you when we get back and help you install it."

On the other end of the line, his assistant, who hadn’t had a chance to disconnect yet, was full of questions upon hearing Xiahou Yu’s words. ’Putting aside that this internal software is never released publicly, the boss wrote this program himself. ’But what kind of affinity could a Jade Token from the apocalypse possibly have? It couldn’t be scaring them off with its murderous aura, could it?’

Hearing Chi Wan’s quip, Xiahou Yu couldn’t help but smile. "Regardless, it was a matter of catering to his interests while each of us got what we wanted. It’s also a fact that your Jade Token helped me out immensely. So, if there’s anything you need my help with in the future, I’m at your service."

Chi Wan blinked. "Not only did one Jade Token make me money, but it also earned me a favor from the great CEO? For a deal this good, you have to remember to include me next time~"

Xiahou Yu glanced at Chi Wan, his words carrying a deeper meaning. "I’m just afraid some people might not be interested in such a ’good deal’."

Chi Wan didn’t understand what Xiahou Yu meant at first and subconsciously retorted, "What? Why would I ever turn down a deal so good it brings tears to your eyes?"

But Xiahou Yu just smiled and shook his head. The car had unknowingly come to a stop at their destination. After the driver opened the door, he stepped out first.

As he helped Chi Wan out of the car, he finally spoke. "Wanwan, regarding He Lingfeng, I believe you have your own way of handling things. But I also want you to know that you’re not all alone. With someone like He Lingfeng, you don’t have to go head-to-head with him."

Chi Wan hadn’t expected Xiahou Yu to be talking about He Lingfeng.

She had never actually considered troubling Zhou Huaijin or Xiahou Yu with this matter. She felt that her friendship with them wasn’t deep enough to warrant them confronting the He Family for her sake.

With that, he walked straight through the door with his hands behind his back, not waiting for them.
