"That was a really stupid thing you did," Savior said, her voice though soft and sweet was cold and flat.
"I don’t know if it was stupid, I thought it was brave," Savior’s friend said.
She made her way toward Min-ho and stood in front of him.
"You’re wounded," she said, peering at his bleeding lip.
"I am, and unless you’re a healer then I don’t see the need in you... pointing... it..."
Min-ho’s words fell apart as she rose a hand to his face, holding both his cheeks as she shut her eyes.
Everyone stood still, holding their breath as they anticipated what was happening.
In that moment, a green hue began to emanate from her hands.
Min-ho felt a mix of cold and electricity sizzling in his cheeks and tracing a path across his face to his lips.
In the second that followed, the pain burning from his wound began to fade.
A second later, it was completely gone.
Yet she did not stop, the cold and electrical current from her hands traced a path down Min-ho’s body and spread out his entirety, healing every sore, bruise and wound he sustained minutes prior.
After a minute of absolute quiet, she finally opened her eyes and let go of Min-ho.
Smiling, she asked, "How does it feel?"
Gasps rose into the air.
One of the Z-Streamers that followed — a tall and handsome young man with blue hair and strange blue eyes with a cross on his pupils and a total view count of 50 — spoke.
"You’re a healer? Why didn’t you follow Gun-hee?" he asked, but received no response.
The other two Z-Streamers that followed said nothing, they just stared at her. They were twins, both with different colors of hair. One black, the other white. Each of them with the same amount of views.
17 each.
Savior walked up to her friend, who sank into her, shivering and groaning. The elation of the blue-haired Z-Streamer died down when he saw Savior’s friend coughing up blood.
"You have a Whiplash," one of the twins whispered, but his words did not go unheard.
"Because there is a chance he will work her like a dog," Savior said, rubbing her friend’s back. "The Whiplash of her Affinity makes her feel all the pain she healed."
Everyone stood silent.
"But it does go away," Savior’s friend said.
She pulled away from Savior’s grasp, a smile still present on her face despite the evident pain resonating within her.
"And her staying with you doesn’t mean you’ll work her like a dog?" Min-ho asked, as he began to walk away from the group.
"You know what, you acting like everything that happened back there was all my fault is starting to get very annoying. Had I not done what I did, you would be dead. I didn’t have to risk my life to save yours."
"Except you did though," Min-ho snapped, turning back to face her.
"Remember that you did what you did for a reason, you need me, and I needed to owe you. But guess what, I owe you nothing because I’ve already returned the favor," Min-ho said, staring Savior straight in the eyes.
"Say what you want, but you’ve already got yourself a team," Savior said, shoving him in the shoulder as she made her way forward.
Min-ho’s brow raised, confusion becoming him.
"Team?" Min-ho asked, then he turned to the Z-Streamers that were seemingly following him.
***
As it turned out, Savior was right, the Z-Streamers that followed Min-ho wanted to form a team with him.
Their reasoning lying in the fact that he seemed like a capable leader, and that was all.
Of course he tried to dissuade them, his reasoning lying in the fact that he had probably made an enemy this day, and they wanted to be nowhere near him for such a situation.
Yet despite his best efforts, no one turned away.
Min-ho was left with no other alternative than to give in, it’s not like he could just run away from them. Not that the thought didn’t cross his mind.
The group made their way through the massive temple with Savior leading the way.
Despite it being in ruins, the architecture and design was still enough to marvel at.
The temple was so massive the inside seemed to stretch on indefinitely.
Just like the other buildings, there were barely any windows whatsoever.
Which meant the sun’s rays could not illuminate the inside of the temple, yet struggling to see was far from a problem, because their path was illuminated by glowing red carved-up crystals that lined the walls, each one designed to look like one strange entity or the other.
Yet this was far from what the temple had to offer.
The group came across multiple stairs that led to doors with nothing behind them, bridges that connected parts of the temple, massive statues with intricate detail that grew more intricate the more one looked at them.
The group finally ended their journey at an enormous shaft with a balcony that spiraled both up and down the temple.
This enormous shaft was one of many centers that connected over a hundred rooms tucked away within the temple.
Looking over the railings, Min-ho almost felt dizzy looking to the bottom of the spiral.
Where did it go? How far and why?
The place was strange to say the least, Min-ho even wondered if this place was really a temple. But a lot of things they came across were enough to convince them it was.
The real question now was, what sort of temple was it?
"This is the best room in the temple," Savior said, pushing open a massive stone door.
It seemed heavy just by the looks of it, but Savior barely even exerted herself in pushing it open.
Everyone held their breath as the stone door groaned up, and to their astonishment, what they found on the inside was... nothing.
