Snapping out of his thoughts, Min-ho took in a deep breath, then he floated a space backward with his gaze running across the entirety of the Systems before him.
A wave of unease washed over him as he dreaded this being the one and only time he could do this. Yet, he wouldn’t find out if he didn’t leave, and he wouldn’t accomplish much if he stayed in here.
They had a big day ahead of them, and he needed to prepare himself for it.
With a sigh, Min-ho wished to leave.
He opened his eyes to find his System in front of him.

[Coins: 35,350]
Having confirmed he was back, he let out a deep sigh.
’Didn’t think I’d be able to come back so easily,’ Min-ho thought, before narrowing his gaze to the Coins.
Looking at the numbers, his heart thudded.
He still couldn’t believe it. So many Coins in just one night. He and the others would have to kill well over 50 Spectors of the same Tier as them. Which was by no means an easy feat.
Turning away from his Coins, Min-ho wanted to take a look at the Developer Options.
Looking down, his breath caught as he felt his heart stop.
’Where is it?’ he asked, jolting up from the floor only to slam his head into the roof of his stone tent.
"Ow," he groaned, but ignored the pain.
He dismissed his System and summoned it once more, but nothing. His mind raced, searching for answers he knew he wouldn’t get.
’Dammit, this can’t be...’ he paused when he saw it reappear into his System menu.

Upon seeing it, his heart calmed. Yet he couldn’t rest easy, because the option was faded.
’Perhaps it’s a cooldown,’ he thought, trying to ease his worries.
Though he found anxiety eating into him, the fact that he could see the option gave him a semblance of hope.
Still feeling his heart pound, Min-ho eased back into the floor with an exhale.
It was strange, he never knew of such a thing, let alone expected it would happen to him, now he felt as though he couldn’t live without it.
His mindset should have been that if anything happened to it, he would be grateful he had gotten what he did from the supposed glitch, and continue forward without it.
After all, that was the initial plan. But when it came down to it, such a thing was easier said than done.
Cleaning out his eyes, he began to feel exhaustion crawl into his being. But he didn’t want to sleep, not yet.
Holding in a yawn, Min-ho got up and made for the door. Following behind was his Z-Eye, which—despite being powered-off— was still hovering with a steady pace with him.
Once he stood in front of the door, Min-ho stared it down, wondering how he would open it without waking everyone.
As he contemplated, footsteps echoed behind it.
He looked over his shoulder, and found Savior walking toward him.
’Why is it always her?’ Min-ho wondered, frowning as they got closer.
"What do you want now?" Min-ho whispered. But he didn’t get a response. Not immediately.
She got closer to the door and held the handle.
"To relieve myself," she whispered back.
’Of course she is,’ he refused to believe.
But it didn’t really matter, not now. He had been looking for a perfect time to talk to her, so her being here was a good thing.
’Why do I feel like she knew that?’ Min-ho wondered.
Snapping out of his thoughts, his gaze was caught by a faint glow which shone from the handle Savior was holding onto, revealing writings he had never seen before. But they disappeared before he could get a good view of it.
Then, the door began to creak open. Looking as though Savior was barely exerting any strength as she pulled on it.
Once the door was open, Savior made her way out, leaving Min-ho to follow behind.
Without further input from Savior, the door began to close, startling Min-ho a bit as he stared at it until it shut closed.
"The latrines are this way," Savior said, her voice soft and sweet. Which Min-ho discovered was upsetting to him.
"The latrines, right," Min-ho responded, before going the other way.
"What you’re looking for is also this way," Savior said, annoying Min-ho.
"Of course it is," he added, then begrudgingly followed behind.
Their walk was silent for several moments, but Savior had something to say to Min-ho.
"You hate me, don’t you?" she asked, her voice low and solemn.
Her question caught Min-ho by surprise, leaving him to contemplate her words for a second.
"Do I hate you?" he reiterated, trying to understand how he felt about her.
’Why am I so against her? It’s not like she’s done anything to harm me,’ he pondered, truly wondering why.
Perhaps it was because he felt like she was taking his autonomy away with her Affinity, or maybe because she was making deals behind his back about him, or maybe... it was just because of what she did to those people?
He wanted to understand, he really did. He knew for a fact she had to do what was necessary for them to survive, yet he found it a hard pill to swallow.
’Get with the program,’ Min-ho thought, as he began to scratch his thumb.
"I don’t hate you, I’m just bitter," he said, trying to believe what he was saying.
Savior said nothing, the only sound echoing across the hallway connecting to the massive corkscrewed shaft was their footsteps.
"You shouldn’t hate me, it’ll make working together difficult," she said, keeping her gaze pinned ahead.
Silence fell once again.
"I can understand why you did what you did, but you didn’t have to kill them, you could have just pushed them off," Min-ho expressed his feelings.
Savior said nothing.
After several echoes of their footsteps, she spoke.
"I had to... I needed their Coins."
