I nod. “Actually, I haven’t checked her status since last night. She started as ‘Dormant’ and went straight to ‘Exhausted’ after she used her Pink Slime magic to save my life.”

“Ah, well then, you’ll definitely need to make her a Swarm-type Slime. I assume each core attached to her yields one use of healing magic.”

“That’s brilliant, Gabby! I’ll get on that right away, but first, let me check my status again. Maybe it’ll finally give me a clue as to why it’s taken her so much longer than Flou to come out.”
