I Devoured The Primordial Chaos to Become the Strongest

If the attack should fail now then he’ll be so badly hurt it might turn to death and the thought made all the cells in his body come to life like never before.

Jim covered the distance in a blink and just then lightning flashed in front of his head, hitting him sharply just when the sword followed.

Bash! Bam!

In that split seconds that the sword hit, more lightning followed and tore into the head like bullet to paper, or knife to butter. The head exploded and send blood and brain matter flying. Chunks of broken skull slammed into Alex and he flinched.

The momentum from the body also made it collided with him and the two fell. The body have returned to its normal state and now a grinning Alex pushed it away from himself. "Yes! That bastard really think his head his impenetrable but my combination of lightning and sword strike did it!"

Alex have been weakening the same spot since the fight began and that was how he was able to do it. He lay down and stare up at the sky, muttering as the adrenaline left his body. "This is more fun than fighting monsters! Awakeners will make you try to react faster than you can!"

His laughter echoed.

Blac couldn’t belive it, two of the squad leaders dead! And it’s not just normal squad leaders. They are of the top five! His perspective of things changed then. These kids are not to be joked with and even though they are using enchanted tool, it’s their mastery over it that spoke the loudest.

He turned to the last fight. Azaroth and Litha and he didn’t know who will win. He smiled and said. "I don’t know who will win? But my gut is already telling me the winner is already known!" 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Azaroth was enjoying himself in the fact that this is giving him training and he’s able to learn some things from watching her fight, as he thought, ’They must not be using formation and stuff. Their ability is inborn, innate. That’s impressive’

Azaroth was so engrossed in his thoughts that he made a mistake and he overshoot his hand, his sword went farther than he planned and Litha took advantage of the situation.

Her ice hand shot forward, slapping his sword away and taking hold of his hand. "I’ve got you now little boy." Litha said. The crossbow have retreated to allow her to now hold him like a vice.

Ice crept on his hands and he felt the bitter chill seeps into his bones. He pulled his hand and even his bones ached at how tightly she’s holding on to. "Yes, you have. But what will you do with me now?"

Azaroth already got his formation ready.

Litha isn’t the type to gloat until she has successfully eradicated her opponent so instead of replying she made an ice sword as her former weapon already lost in the fight and raised the ice weapon ready to hack him into two.

But Azaroth opened his mouth and fire wave blasted out with its own kinetic force. The ice sword melted and the ice on her right hand began to fight for their right to not get melted as well but since they are direct manifestation of her abilities they didn’t melt directly but instead curved outward to protect her face.

Unfortunately the other half of her body isn’t that safe and she quickly dropped him and jumped back. Azaroth picked up his sword and without giving her much time to recover he was on her again.

She staggered, ignoring the pain that blazed through her body she raised her left hand where the crossbow is rapidly forming but before she can shoot anything Azaroth is already in front her her, his right hand, like a gentle slap, tapped her right hand. "Ember strike."

Bam! Then, Boom!

Compressed fire exploded outward on her ice hand, an intense rolling fire broke the ice and melted it, blasting the hand away while Azaroth thrust his sword beneath her ribs and straight into her heart. "This is your loss, Captain of the tax collector."

Blood dripped from her mouth and her eyes began to glaze over, she spoke with some difficulty. "F..fuc...fuck you boy."

Azaroth dropped her unceremoniously on the ground and studied her coldly. She has an interesting and powerful ability as an Initiate. This must mean there must be even more powerful Initiate Awakeners than her. "Interesting."

Kosh couldn’t believe his eyes and he isn’t the only one. The other warriors from the other squad also felt the same way. To them, Captain Litha is like a force of nature that can’t be stopped by anything. So why? Why is she lying there with her eyes open without light in them?

The whole world must have turned upside down.

Kosh looked up at the kids....no, not kids! They are Demons! Devils, that’s what they are because why and how did they just kill the captain and her two squad leaders.

"Monsters." Kosh whispered because he couldn’t find much of a difference.

Blac also felt the same way but right now he’s simply too shocked to put his thoughts into order. He knew how strong Litha was and he was just a little stronger than her. So how? Again, he was glad he didn’t fight them openly.

Finally he squeezed something out of his mind, ’I should follow them to see how far they can go in this prison world’

Azaroth sat back on his seat and he watched the blood covered ground in satisfaction. Then he called. "Blac!"

After a pause the man appeared in a cloud of darkness. "Yes, sir Azaroth?"

"I want you to kill all the tax collector warriors. All their weapons will be given to my warriors." Azaroth said shortly.

Blac know this is a test. Will he follow him or not? Thankfully, Blac already made up his mind so he bowed and said. "As you wish."
