I Devoured The Primordial Chaos to Become the Strongest

"What?" Azaroth thought and his anger came to him like slow moving water in bitter winter. Everyone was just as surprised, and Stallus looks as if she’s just going to risk it all and do something she might not have time to regret.

But the Crypt Master isn’t done. "You can have it if you can use it but unfortunately it’s already keyed to Stallus."

Azaroth looked at Commander, what will you do now? He thought.

The pressure on everyone varnished and the Commander glanced at the ring and then at Stallus. His face thoughtful. "What if I kill her? If she dies then will the ring take a new master?"

"What?" Catena, Alex and Stallus asked at once, shocked.

But Azaroth wasn’t, he knew the Legion, he know they are cruel and their hunger for power is admirable.

Crypt Master shrugged casually. "You know that’s not possible, it might break down or go dormant. It’s aware, Apex. Do you think it’ll take a new master when you kill her?"

Apex shrugged. "I just feels like it’ll be easier to break away since it’s just done recently. A shame though, something like this is wasted on her."

What Azaroth interpreted it as is. ’Something like this is wasted on a Yama slave’

And what the Commander is thinking is. ’We will still use the mask to control her and the ring’

Crypt Master collected the ring but didn’t return it to her. "I will give this to you only when you are at Master’s rank. Don’t worry," then he cast some kind of spell on it and it varnished. "Don’t worry, it’ll come to you anywhere you are. Anywhere you might be, once you’re Master rank then you can have it."

Azaroth nodded ti himself, that’s wise. It’s going to be a huge boost to her power when she finally get her hand on the ring. That much power.... he closed his eyes. They’ll be his powerful pawns.

Alex was thinking something too and it made his eyes pulled together in a frown. "Catena and now Stallus all have enchanted tool but not him. Well, Azaroth don’t have either but my job now is to look for an enchanted tool of my own!" Alex nodded to himself.

At the end Stallus nodded and accepted, mostly because there’s nothing she can do anyway. She bowed before them even though inside she was already feeling empty for the loss.

Crypt Master looked at the Commander and then at the blue orb and their sponsor spoke. "Very well. It remains only one for the test, then you can continue with it."

They bowed to the orb.

Then Crypt Master turned to Azaroth. "It’s your turn. I should warn you because you are the strongest among your team, then Crypt might set a difficult test. Do you want to automatically fail?"

Azaroth stand up and just stare at the crypt Master without saying anything. The crypt Master shifted then said with a stiff smile. "Then we will proceed as planned."

He gestured and the portal appeared, blowing gently with blue light. And without hesitation, Azaroth stepped inside.

Immediately he entered the portal change from blue to black and it spun wildly. Everyone shifted away from it and because the essence pressure coming from it is filled with bloodlust. It wasn’t powerful enough to affect others but it made Stallus and the others to flinch and move far away from it.

The Commander looked at the crypt Master in irritation. "What now?"

The crypt was frowning and it was Kael who answered. "This...is like a unique Crypt. They are like a trap that hides the true level of their crypts until Awakeners enters and finds out that it a rank or several above their own."

The Commander recognized it then. "I remember now, I’ve been inside one of those before but Crypt Master, you told me that you tempered a bit with the crypt so why’s this happening?"

"The only explanation is that Azaroth strength triggers something like a unique crypt. Now it’s totally out of my hands."

"Ahahaha, is that so? Then let’s see just how powerful he his!" The orb said.

All of them then turned to the glass. This will turn out to be the best one yet, they thought to themselves.

Immediately Azaroth entered the crypt he knew that something was wrong. He felt pressure that’s powerful from the crypt and he understood, the crypt was reacting to his power level. An Initiate rank that’s stronger than his level.

When he touched down it was on a grassy low hill and the sun shines gently on him. Azaroth looked around first, taking everything in.

He didn’t see any lair in his immediate vicinity so the monsters’ boss can’t be here. He reached inside and prepared both his cores for action. Then he picked a place and began to walk, his sword out and ready.

He hadn’t moved that long when a shadow covered the sun as something big passed overhead. A bird monster that can easily carry Azaroth with its two legs.

The bird has glossy feathers that change colors as it spun above, waiting for the perfect chance to strike. It let loose a long screech that cut the air cleanly.

Azaroth frowned. "What type of monster is this and I’ve not heard of boss monster coming at the beginning. Why’s this monster have the same power as a boss?"

Outside the Commander was asking the same question. "Crypt Master, Why’s this happening? A boss from the beginning? That’s the boss of the monster, Garuda! That boss have the ability to cause madness!"

Stallus was looking at the screen with her heart beat fast. If a boss was appearing in the beginning, then what’s going to happen to Azaroth for the crypt to be cleared? She shuddered, this promise to be worse than her own. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Alex was also looking at the screen because this is something he never thought can happen. So this is a unique Crypt! Even Catena can’t sleep, this is something he can’t miss.
