I Devoured The Primordial Chaos to Become the Strongest

The monster loomed above Azaroth one more time and it’s eyes shone with victory. Then the monster snapped down again with the beak that can sliced metal in two but...Tang!

Azaroth raised his sword and parried! The monster moved back in surprise. Have Azaroth broken out of its illusion? No, his eyes is still blank but his face...his face is now pulled together in anger and his eyes glowed hotly with red fire.

The monster flinched when Azaroth bloodlust pressure reached it. What’s going on?

Unknown to the monster the memories that’s replaying on Azaroth head is the day his mother and unborn sister died, by the hands of the Inferno Legion. He saw his mother’s head getting melted by a blast of compressed fire.

His whole body shook as he was, once again helpless to do anything. His anger began to shimmer then it rose and boiled over. The memory cracked and crumbled and Azaroth is back to the present.

He broke the memories with nothing but his will alone. The monster knew then that Azaroth is the real predator that have been playing with it since.

Azaroth smiled with savage joy and his eyes shone with feverish madness. "Thank you! Thank you! For reminding me, for your reward I won’t let you have a painful death."

Then he closed his eyes and took a deep breath until his anger calmed and his face returned to its cold impassive mask. "Now, you die."

Azaroth crouched and the he rested his palm on the ground. "Ember strike." He then inject his fire in a single bust into the ground and what he wanted happened. A great dust rose up and covered the area.

Stallus swallowed and resisted a shudder, she thought fast. ’What was that on Azaroth face? Such brutal joy! A deep flowing anger that’s mixed with something else I can’t put my hands on.. it’s like he’s taking pleasure with that anger and hatred. Just what type of memory is that?

While Stallus, Alex and Catena were thinking about how Azaroth broke the illusion and how he’s burning hot with emotion one moment and then cold the nex, Commander Apex and the rest are thinking about one thing...Azaroth caused that dust on purpose and it’s not to confuse his opponent!

Most monsters will see in the dust, then that leaves only one explanation. The dust is to cover from the people looking through the glass! Why is Azaroth doing this?

They leaned forward unconsciously, when the dust settled, what are they going to find? The silence was thick enough to cut with sword. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

They waited with breath held until the dust settled and what they saw shocked then. The bird monster is dead and Azaroth is sitting on it casually.

How did this happen? How did he kill the monster? All they saw is the the monster’s head have been crushed as if from an explosion. Infact, there’s nothing remaining of the head, only a bloody mess.

"How did he do that." Commander Apex asked flatly.

Indeed, how? Because the time that it took was small, that mean he must have used a rather powerful skill. Captain Kael leaned forward and thought. ’Have he improved one of his fire skills? That’s impossible, at their level they can’t make skills by themselves because even me have few skills that is originally mine’

Crypt Master is also analyzing the situation. "He didn’t use any fire because none of the wounds are burned or the feathers. Then what happened? Is there an enchanted tool that he’s hiding?"

But Stallus and the others know that there’s no enchanted tool and Azaroth trained with them all the time so what did he do to kill that monster like that?

Few minutes earlier when Azaroth caused the dust that covered everything. During that seconds when the dust is up he and the monster stared at each other and Azaroth smiled like a wolf. "Time to die, as promised. I’ll make it painless."

He then raised his first finger and his chaos power gathered until a small ball of rolling chaos essence gathered no bigger than a small apple. "Hmmm...I should make it small." And the ball shrunk even further.

The monster couldn’t stand being ignored again and ran at him at full speed.

"Tsurugi!" Azaroth said. The ball shot off faster than a bullet and it collided with the monster’s head with a small shockwave that drove away most of dust and rose more.

The monster collapsed without a head as everything has been turned to fine mist. Azaroth nodded in satisfaction. "Tsurugi is not a skill name. It’s the name of the technique used to shape essence into desired shapes. The more complex the more difficult. I can even combine my chaos and fire if I write my fire formation with chaos essence...."

Azaroth was saying all this while he was sitting on the monster. But he must not forget the core reason for the chaos core and that right now it can only provide him with telekinesis force power. So what he did earlier was compressing the force into shapes.

"I should think of more shapes from Corvus." So he stand from the monster he’s standing on and use his sword to hack until he found what he’s looking for. The heart.

He ate it raw like that and his face and hand was covered in blood that shone with different colors. When he’s done he washed his face, then he did a bit of meditation and get ready to move.

Captain Kael smiled behind his mask and thought. "Is this it? The vengeance that will sweep the Inferno Legion with blood in his face? I know already that this boy desire vengeance and I didn’t report him, instead I make sure to give him as much training as he can get! I will! I will use him to turn the masks inside out! Finally, finally!’

Outside he was calm but his hands trembled a bit. Very soon, those who made others weep will cry with blood. He is coming.
