Heroines, something wrong with them?

Elizabeth dressed up in a sky blue single-piece dress with a long skirt and no sleeves.

Loid also wore his pants and t-shirt.

"How long were you driving? Won’t you be bored alone? " Loid asked.

"Oh, so worried about me," Elizabeth giggled. "But what can we do? Someone has to drive."

Just then, the train shook and then stopped.

"What happened? Elizabeth said, smile disappearing from her face.

"Let’s go see."

They ran toward the first carriage, Loid ahead and Elizabeth following him.

"What the hell, that?" Loid said, looking outside from the front glass. "And why the hell was she out fighting alone with that thing!’’

"It looked like the monster I saw in the dream, but much smaller and a little different..., I don’t have any idea we would encounter..."

Loid ran to the second carriage and opened the store room and took out a heavy axe. he had to thank Veronica for that she had perpared as she was prepared for a real apocalypse. Maybe she was.

He ran back to the first carriage.

" I’m going to help her,’’ he said, walking toward the door.

"Wait," Elizabeth called. "First, wear proper clothes; you were going to just freeze like this instead of helping."

"Tsk! ’’ Loid clicked his tongue and walked a step back, picked the coat from the seat, wore it in one arm, then another as he exited the train.

His bare feet touched the cold snow.

"Grawwwwwww!"

A loud, beastly growl hit his ear, with chilling, cold wind.

His eyes moved toward the giant humanoid figure the size of a two-story house, with brown skin, bat-like teeth, not a single piece of hair on its body, its body like a bear just without hair, and its face was more human-like, which made it look more eerie.

"What’s this thing?" Loid asked Lalica.

Her hands were raised toward the giant; her expression looked pained. She was stopping that thing, like she made some kind of invisible wall.

"I don’t know," She answered.

Loid walked closer to her; it looked like the giant monster wasn’t looking at them. Its acid-green eyes, glowing in the dark, were focused on the train, not on him or Lalica.

"Why not just use your telekinesis ability to rip its body apart, instead of stopping it?"

"I tried it, not working. I just got a strong headache."

"Alright." Loid stared at the giant, his heart drumming against his ribs.

The most I can do is hit him with an axe, then I’m dead. Its body looks too durable.

"How long can you hold this thing?’’ He asked.

"Until my head bursts out with pain! ahh!’’ Lalica screamed.

Loid, don’t bother her anymore.

He didn’t know she had such limitations. What was that? Weak imagination? Mental power? fuck system, didn’t explain things while distributing it’s shity abilities.

Without wasting time, Loid ran toward the monster.

He reached to gaint pinky finger of the giant monster’s foot.

Raised his axe high; he knew what he was going to do. It was stupid. If his attack attracted the monster’s attention, then he was dead for sure.

But as a man fuck it.

"Clang!"

After hitting the giant pinky with the axe, he immediately looked up and sighed in relief; the monster didn’t pay attention to him.

Then he looked in front, not even a scratch on its ultimate rhino-like skin.

Ah.. What should I do?

We had no weapon for this thing.

Gun? Maybe a gun..

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Loid looked back.

Veronica fired six rounds in a row.

"Grawwwwwwwww!

Loid looked as the monster growled at the train. The bullets didn’t give it any damage.

But Loid understood one thing: this monster wasn’t paying them any attention, not to the sound of the gun, nor to Veronica who was stopping its way, nor to him when he was trying to cut its finger.

"Alright! Drive the train away; we can’t kill this thing, just leave.’’ Loid shouted.

"But you and L..."

Loid cut off Veronica’s words.

"Just leave and turn off the lights of the train before taking any turn... this thing was looking at light. Maybe it’s attracted to it’’

"But you guys...,"

"We would run when you guys are gone; I will stay with Lulicaa in case she passed out or something ’’ Loid said, walking toward Lulica.

"Alright, sweetheart, come inside; don’t waste time,’’ Elizabeth called her daughter from the door of the train.

Veronica nodded to her mother and got back into the train.

Amilia started the train, took a turn back, and drove it away.

Loid walked close to Lalica and looked toward the train. They switched off the light, and they took a turn.

" I can’t!" Lalica mutter.

He saw she was bleeding from her nose.

Loid looked at the valley in front of him; on the side of the road, he just had to leave from the way this giant monster.

Loid reached for her waist and other hand under her legs. He carried her and ran toward that small valley.

Lalica was still focused, stopping the monrster on it place. Her focus was only broken when Loid took the turn, and the giant monster disappeared from her view.

"Grawwwww!

"Rumble!"

"Rumble!..."

The monster didn’t look toward us. Loid thought, reviled as he leaned against the wall, slowly sliding down, sitting on cold snow. His feet were burning from the cold; he hugged Lalica tighter.

Now it was clear this was not wanted to eat them; it didn’t even notice him and Lalica. Most probably light attracted the giant monster.

Where’re the zombies? When Veronica fired, he didn’t see any zombies coming toward them. Did this thing eat zombies?

He shook his head; not time to think about this. He looked at Lalica in her arms,

She was breathing, but her eyes were closed; she was passed out.

He sat there for ten more seconds, then stood up, carrying Lalica in his arms. He went out from velly,

But in a second, his heart ached. He felt worried sick because, from the footsteps, that thing was gone after the train.

I hope everyone has already left the train as I told them... I told them, right? He didn’t remember; he fucking doesn’t remember!.
