The irregularly shaped stone was about the size of an egg, but it looked perfectly ordinary, similar to a river pebble.

The person on the other end called again immediately.

Brother Zhang gave Wen Ying a sheepish look. "My wife handles the family finances."

"Your wife has the look of a very fortunate person. Your lives together will only get better."

"Let’s hope your auspicious words come true." Hearing Wen Ying’s words, Brother Zhang felt even more satisfied.

"If I don’t quit, how much longer will I live?" Brother Zhang asked, the question popping out of nowhere. Even he seemed surprised he’d asked it.

"No more than ten years. Brother Zhang, you should make time to visit a hospital. You most likely have pulmonary nodules."

Brother Zhang tensed up immediately. ’Nodules are no joke. If they keep growing, will I end up as a terminal cancer patient?’

’I’m so lucky I met Doctor Wen!’

"Alright! I’ll quit right now! My daughter’s only in elementary school; I want to be there to see her get married."

As he said this, Brother Zhang pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and threw it straight into the trash can.

Cheng Cheng watched this all play out, feeling she had completely underestimated Doctor Wen’s influence over Brother Zhang. ’Does he really have pulmonary nodules?’

’Doctor Wen didn’t even examine him. She could tell just by looking?’

"Then what did you see?" Brother Zhang asked with a smile. ’Cheng Cheng is twenty years younger than me; she really hasn’t seen much of the world.’

"A beautiful owner!"

Even Cheng Cheng, who was a beauty herself, had to admit she was captivated by Wen Ying’s face.

Hearing Cheng Cheng’s answer, Brother Zhang chuckled. "You kids are still too young. You can’t just judge things by their surface, understand? You watch Doctor Wen’s livestreams every day, don’t you get that?"

Cheng Cheng’s face flushed a little. She lowered her voice and said, "Actually, I’ve only watched her stream twice. I just said that to try and build a better rapport with Doctor Wen."
