’Ha... another sign of pregnancy’ Noah thought slightly squinting his eyes.

Noah kept observing Alice’s behavior quietly like a good student. When she was asleep he called his father and asked him how a woman’s nature changes when she expects.

At first, Taylor thought his son has gone mad, but then understanding his curiosity, he laid back on his seat and started explaining everything. Since Noah was his only child and knowing how hard it was for Anna to push him out of her, he know how a woman goes through both physical and mental changes.

Noting everything his father said, he then called their assigned doctor and discussed everything with her too, but from her point of view, she said they can’t rush to any conclusion until she runs some tests on Alice and not to forget they were even going through treatments.

What if it was just a false alarm?

Noah didn’t want to conclude anything either, so he explained to the doctor beforehand. With everything fixed perfectly in his mind, Noah was now being careful. Deep down he was contemplating declining his thoughts entirely. They wouldn’t know anything, right?

When he didn’t say anything Alice rolled her eyes and started walking towards the bathroom.

"Are you feeling nauseous again" Noah quickly snapped following her like a lost puppy.

"No, I am not. But if you keep following me everywhere. I am surely going to feel one soon" she snapped before slamming the door on his face.

By the time Alice, came out getting fresh, Noah was silently waiting for her outside. Finding him standing in the same spot Alice frown.

"Why are you still here? Were my words not clear enough to understand? What’s wrong with you Noah?" pushing him away she walked toward her closet, looking for a nice dress.

She planned to visit the studio later this afternoon but now that she was feeling better, she thought of going a little early.

Ignoring her words, Noah tailed behind and watched her rampage through her clothes.

"Why are you getting dressed? Are you going somewhere?" he asked watching her pick a beautiful dress from the closet.

"Hmm... I go to the studio" she mumbled and quickly removed her robe, dropping it down, before sliding into her dress.

"But you aren’t well and what if you start feeling nauseous again" Noah pointed.

Stopping for a second, Alice turned to look at Noah with a confused face. He did have a point, but she didn’t want to stay at home either. Instead, she wanted to work so she would forget that she was sick.

The thought of feeling pukish the entire time made her feel like a patient and she really needed to clear her head.

"But I still want to go" Ignoring his words she quickly dressed up and started combing her hair.

"But-" Noah was again going to come up with an excuse but Alice stopped him.

"No, but or anything Noah. I told you I want to clear my head or else I will keep on thinking I am sick" she stated, glancing at herself in the mirror for the last time before she turned around and faced her worried husband.

Patting his face, she was about to leave when Noah stopped her. "Wait for me. I will come with you" he said and turned to head inside the bathroom when Alice asked.

"What about your work?"

Pausing midway, he turned and said," I will work with you" With that he entered the bathroom and quickly took a shower.

Getting changed the couple then left the mansion, but unknown to them a certain someone stood across the street watching their retreating car.

He was finding a way to sneak into the house, but witnessing the tight security, he retreated.

Dylan had to be careful as he lost his most important support, Lucas. But that didn’t stop him from stepping back from his revenge.

Unable to see the couple live a happy life by ruining his, Dylan couldn’t be at peace. Eyeing the property for a few more seconds, he withdrew from there.

Reaching the studio, Noah guided Alice toward her office making sure she doesn’t trip or anything. He was being way more careful and that action of his was annoying Alice.

"Will you stop doing that" she warned when he pulled a chair for her after walking towards her desk.

"Babe, don’t be upset. I am just being cautious. Didn’t you say earlier you feel dizzy? I am just being prepared" he explained.

"Prepare for what?" she asked arching her brow in amusement.

"To catch you in case you fall" he answered.

Rolling her eyes in defeat, Alice didn’t argue any further and let him do as he pleased. She could tell something was wrong with him today. The way he was extra cautious made her wonder what was up with him.

Little did she know Noah was wishing his doubts to be right and soon he would hear a piece of good news.

[Evening]

After finishing his work, Tristan rushed to pick Ashley. The moment his car reached the set, everyone started gossiping.

Ignoring all of their voices, Tristan made his way inside. When Ashley didn’t answer his call, he assumed she must still be busy with the shoot. So instead of bothering her further he reached the spot and watched Ashley giving her last of the day.

Standing with the other crew Tristan’s eyes beamed happily. He could see how determined Ashley was and how her entire aura changed the second she steps into her character.

Eyeing her, Tristan watched her deliver her shot elegantly before the director shouted ’CUT’ and she quickly returned back to normal.

The sound of clapping caught everyone’s attention and she quickly turned her head to the side and watched Tristan.

He was praising her in front of everyone by appreciating her performance. It was also a direct way of letting them know that they were married and the rumors were cent percent true.

"When did you come?" Ashley asked as soon as she made her way towards him.

"While you were busy shooting the scene," he said with a proud smile and watched her return the same charming smile.

As the couple left the spot, Jennifer who was standing there with her manager fumed before retreating toward her room carrying a foul mood.

Making their way towards her changing room, Ashley quickly got changed and left the set along with Tristan.

As promised the couple drove to their favorite spot. Ashley suggested they should go to the beach and spend their time together while having a candlelight dinner.

Booking the entire venue, both Tristan and Ashley were having their private time.

"Why are you smiling?" Ashley asked taking a sip from her juice.

Since the time they reached here, Tristan hadn’t stopped smiling while he kept staring at her. At first, she liked the way he was admiring her but when he kept doing that longer, she couldn’t stop herself from asking.

"You looked so cool while acting earlier. I can’t stop myself from being proud" he mentioned and she simply shook her head.

"You tell this to me every time you see me act. You should get used to it Tristan" she said.

"I am getting used to it, but if you keep on taking away my breath every time, I don’t think next time I will stop myself from kissing you as a reward"

Tristan shamelessly declared, leaving Ashley in shock. He sounded so serious that she couldn’t take his words lightly.

Ashley knew Tristan had the capability to show his love openly, but she wasn’t as daring as him when it came to expressing her love. She would end up dying of embarrassment.

"Okay now stop being cheesy and eat" Ashley mumbled feeling flustered by his words and started digging it.

"By the way do you remember Jennifer Wingmen, the leading lady? She joined the shoot today"

Tristan who wasn’t interested in the remaining cast gave her a clueless look and watched her shake her head.

"Tristan..." she fumed making him quickly recall the woman.

"Yes, yes I remember her now. Isn’t she the same actress who refuse to do a shoot with you before" he asked, now that he properly recalled her?

"What about her?" he asked placing the fork back on the table.

"Nothing... I just think she is trying to create a problem for me" The moment those words left her mouth Tristan quickly pulled out his cell phone and made a call.

"What are you doing?" she asked staring at him with shock.

"Asking Franklin to replace her," he said casually.

Shocked by his words Ashley quickly snatched the from his hand and ended the call. "What... why did you cut the call?" he asked confused by her action.

"What were you doing?" she asked keeping the phone back on the table and turned to look at him with a questionable look in her eyes.

"Did you say, she was trying to cause trouble? I just wanted to replace her"
