Piper has been quiet all this while. She didn’t disclose the incident that happened to her that night. She remembered listening to some whispers when she reached the backside of the mansion.

She wanted to know who these people were and what were they doing on the other side of the boundary. Master Richard had clearly warned every servant not to cross the line but still, she heard some voices coming across the fence.

"Who were those people" she mumbled rubbing the space where she was punched before she passed out only to find her waking up inside her room.

"And how did I return to my room" she tried to recall the memory when she hissed in pain on the nape of her neck.

Confused Piper turned around, and started preparing the dinner when Tori stepped in.

"How would you like me to assist you Piper" Tori smiled asking Piper. She seemed different from her usual quiet self which surprised Piper and she looked at her in awe.

’What’s wrong with her and why is she smiling?’

The day since Tori came to Brown’s mansion, she had been very reserved, barely voicing her thoughts. She would help her like an obedient kid and never once she saw her smile.

Tori was like a mystery to her, a young girl void of any emotions. Her lifeless eyes would always make her think, how can such a beautiful girl never once express her emotions openly?

"Is there any occasion?" Piper tried to act normal concealing her doubts. She wanted to know more about her, her family, and how did she learning to cook at such a young age.

Tori shrugged her shoulder and began helping Piper.

After that incident, Tori and her team barely managed to escape. If Max wouldn’t react immediately, Piper would’ve created a big problem for them.

He had been very cautious of his surroundings making sure no one finds them bringing the weapons to the dungeon. They picked the night time hoping everyone inside the Brown Mansion must be sleeping but his assumptions were wrong.

Piper sneaked out of the Mansion and headed straight to the backside. It was then he realized something was odd and he quickly texted Tori about it. He didn’t want to harm the middle age lady but when she tried to surpass their territory, he couldn’t stop himself.

Snapping out of her thoughts Tori looked at Piper. She didn’t want to hurt the lady but she also couldn’t go against her boss. After spending some time with Piper, she found the lady to be very kind and loveable.

They were trained to be ruthless with no ounce of feelings when they stand against their target. They are asked to clear every hurdle that would prolong their plan but Piper had nothing to do with anything happening around them.

It was her carelessness which was caught by Piper and she even warned her but still, she behaved recklessly which ignited suspicion in Piper’s mind for her.

Averting her gaze, Tori began chopping the vegetable when she heard Piper speak.

"You know Tori, I had a daughter who was of your age. Sometimes, when I look at you, it reminds me of her" Tori halted her movement and looked at Piper who smiled sadly.

"Had a daughter. Where is she now? Doesn’t she lives with your family" Tori asked suddenly getting curious to know about Piper’s daughter.

"No, she doesn’t" Piper answered carrying the same sad smile that bothered Tori somehow.

"Then where is she now?" Tori further inquired.

Stopping her hand from further cutting the veggies, Piper raised her head and looked at Tori with unexplainable emotions, and said," In heaven. She lost her life after battling an incurable disease"

Tori opened her mouth to say something but she couldn’t. She couldn’t find any words coming out of her mouth but the hurt in Piper’s eyes was so prominent that she couldn’t ignore it.

Unknowing her, Tori reached out her hand and placed it on Piper’s shoulder as if she wanted to console the lady from the grief of losing her daughter.

An unexpected emotion stirred in Tori’s heart when Piper passed a polite smile at her. She didn’t know why but felt the pain she must be going through remembering her late daughter.

Even she had gone through the same grief. She had lost the most precious person in her life and it was the only reason why she was here. To revenge those who were behind her sister Sandra’s demise.

After strolling around the vast beach, and exploring the beautiful place Ashley and Tristan returned to their room.

"It’s so tiring. I didn’t expect the place to be this huge" Ashley sat on the couch resting back leisurely and sighed.

Tristan pour some water into the glass and gave it to Ashley. He was quite amazed to find Ashley getting tired so easily. But then he remembered something and he took back the glass once she finished drinking and placed it back on the table before joining her next on the couch.

"After returning home, you are joining the gym with me. I can see you have started to get tired very easily" Tristan declared making her jolt up on the couch.

"Gym!" Ashley questioned with her eyes wide as soccer.

"Yes, and I will be the one who would be training you" Ashley’s wide eyes dimmed and she moved closer to Tristan slowly crawling on his lap with her arms wrapped around his neck.

"And what are we supposed to do inside the gym" suddenly her voice dropped and she questioned seductively.

Tristan wrapped his arms around her butt and squeezed them as he balanced her on his lap. He could see through her actions and without getting affected by her boldness he kept his guard up with his mind in full control.
