​Neo raised an eyebrow.

"Are you talking about the Demon Emperor?" he asked calmly despite her intoxicating proximity.

​"Yes, The Demon Emperor himself. He possessed the exact same unyielding ambition in his gaze. But he viewed his subjects as precious companions. He will always be at the forefront, trying to protect whatever is left. But you’re... far far better in this regard."

​Noir leaned closer to his cheek, her hot breath touching across his cheek.

​"My father was trying to fix his broken empire. But you... You’re creating one from the scratch. You possess this terryfying talent that he never has."

​She leaned even closer. Her ruby eyes fluttered shut halfway. The scent of her feminity became completely intoxicating, wrapping around his senses like a heavy blanket.

​"Still, you should know darling, even an emperor requires an empress who truly understands the massive pressure of his crown," she breathed softly against his lips.

"Allow me to reward you properly for your grand victory today."

​Zestia marched aggressively into the room, her heavy armored boots clicking fiercely against the pristine marble floor.

She was holding a thick stack of military reports. Her golden hair flowed wildly behind her like a fiery, untamed mane.

​"Neo, we urgently need to discuss the integration of the surrendered Federation troops. The logistics of feeding and housing fifty thousand soldiers are extremely complicated and..."

​Her voice completely died in her throat.

​Zestia froze dead in her tracks. Her bright, righteous eyes locked entirely onto the scandalous scene before her. She saw Noir sitting extremely comfortably right on Neo’s lap, her arms still wrapped intimately around his neck, and her beautiful face lingering mere inches from his lips.

​"Noir, What exactly do you think you are doing? Move away from Neo, now!"" Zestia shouted, her voice trembling with visible jealousy.

​Noir simply glanced over her shoulder. She offered the furious blonde knight a highly provocative smile, completely refusing to move a single inch from Neo’s lap.

​"Oh, Nothin. We were just having a very private discussion about imperial rewards, little Zestia. But you really should learn some basic manners and knock before entering the Emperor’s private quarters."

​"Get off of him this instant, you shameless witch!" Zestia yelled at the top of her lungs.

​She completely tossed the crumpled military reports onto the floor and gripped the hilt of her sword, pulling it a few inches from its scabbard with a sharp, threatening hiss of metal.

​Neo sighed internally, closing his eyes for a second. His mind might be an unbreakable iron fortress, but dealing with the daily chaos with these two women was definitely going to test his Type 5 endurance far more than any interstellar Federation warship ever could.

"Calm down, Zestia. Why don’t you explain this urgency of yours?"

She turned to him abruptly, looking hurt.

"No. This must be settled today. Why was she sitting on your lap like that? Are you two already in a relationship?"
