So, no matter how strong the beasts were, they died when the flames hit them without any trouble.
It was clear the heart flames were very strong, and that wasn’t their full strength. That’s why they were the number one noble clan.
The next one was the annoying yet troublesome Silverblade clan. Although Ethan was just a dandy young master, the others from the Silverblade weren’t. They were able to maintain their position naturally and had sufficient strength.
The bloodline of the Silverblade family seemed to also be a C-rank. According to whispers among the crowd, it originated from a terrifying creature dwelling deep within the Silver River—
The Silver Swordfish.
The Silverblade bloodline granted exceptional physical abilities along with incredible balance and precision.
More importantly...
Its users could condense the Silver Blade Aura, an incredibly sharp energy capable of slicing through almost anything, making their attacks cut through any heavily armoured beasts.
It was clear their bloodline was meant to be master swordsmen. Making them incredibly strong when it comes to battle.
And the third one that impressed him was the noble clan that seemed quite mysterious and even had the lowest number of people among the noble families, as they only sent just two people.
The Nightwing Family.
Yes, only two people; they didn’t show up with elite guards or something, but just two people, and yet they were among the strongest here.
According to the whispers around him, the Nightwing Family ranked among the five strongest noble clans in Flameheart City.
What made this even more shocking was their size. While the Silverblade Family had over a thousand members... The Nightwing Family had only a few dozen.
Despite their small numbers... They had still risen to become one of the city’s greatest noble clans.
As their bloodline seemed to possess a terrifying power of darkness that could assimilate and devour their enemies. And nobody actually knows what rank their bloodline is.
The two who came are bloodline awakeners, and one among them was even at a transformation level. Even more terrifying, it is said that dozens of members of the Nightwing family were bloodline awakeners.
This made him surprised, as they were truly a mysterious noble house. Although they were mysterious and didn’t usually show much involvement with anybody, nobody dared to underestimate their strength.
These three noble families were the ones that impressed Max the most, but other nobles weren’t weak; it just appeared lacklustre to him.
After all...
Judging families that had accumulated hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years of foundation after only a few hours of observation would be foolish. He needed to remain alert until the end.
The battle raged on; time slowly passed, and midnight arrived. Darkness covered the battlefield.
Instead of weakening... The Beast Tide only became fiercer as more beasts emerged beneath the cover of night.
Over twelve hours had passed since the Beast Tide began.
At every gate of Flameheart City—the eastern, western, southern, and northern gates—the defenders were beginning to feel the immense pressure of the endless battle.
Fatigue accumulated, and the number of casualties continued to rise.
And yet... There was still no end to the tide of beasts in sight. All sides were fighting, putting in all their strength.
The situation became so dangerous that finally the transformation realm bloodline awakeners needed to make their move.
At the eastern gate, finally, the transformation realm bloodline awakeners from different noble families stepped forward and stood at the front.
A total of five transformation-realm bloodline awakeners made the move, and three were from the Flameheart, Silverblade and Nightwing families. As for the other two, they were from other noble families, but they were clearly quite old and had weaker auras than the three.
Everyone looked at them intensely, as it’s very rare for the transformation realm to make its moves. Max also looked at them with interest, wanting to see the true strength of the transformation realm.
The five of them stood in different areas, and the first move was made by the two old transformation realm elders.
Their auras surged violently. Ancient and primal beast-like pressure condensed around their bodies.
Their physiques trembled before beginning to transform.
One elder’s arms expanded into enormous purple gorilla limbs, covered in dense muscles and coarse fur.
The other elder’s legs transformed into massive grasshopper-like limbs, becoming long, elastic, and packed with explosive power.
And then they attacked and jumped into the sea of beasts.
Boom!
The old man with enormous purple gorilla limbs punched, creating a devastating explosion that seemed to shatter lands and kill dozens of beasts in an instant.
Meanwhile, the elder with the grasshopper legs bounded across the battlefield at terrifying speed. Every leap created a sonic boom.
Every landing exploded like a cannon blast and destroyed dozens of beasts in a matter of seconds.
They were like a slaughter machine that seemed to be killing not terrifying beasts but some bugs, and in a matter of a few seconds, hundreds of beasts were slaughtered.
The devastating power shocked everyone as it was beyond their limits. All of them were sure that they wouldn’t survive an attack from them.
Max also watched this slaughter with a grave expression as the difference was greater than he expected; whether it was power or speed, it was beyond Blood Awakeners’ realm. Even his best Blood explosion, by giving his all, might at best reach the level of their single attack.
Not to mention their speed; even though he was barely able to see some of the movements of the old man with gorilla arms, the grasshopper elder was simply too fast. He could see nothing except faint afterimages.
His expression became grave, and he couldn’t look at the other three transformation-realm experts, as their aura was deeper. His eyes lingered on Serpent of the Silverblade Family as he just refused the young master Ethan.
