"So, Lumber Camp first and then Legionary Hall." Dom stated as they arrived at the Lumber Camp. "System use a Wooden Token please and upgrade."

The Lumber Camp suddenly gained some additional winches and saws, with clear systems in place for allowing the wood to move swiftly around. The Camp had also grown, taking up a lot more space than it had initially. Lars who was stood chatting nearby looked visibly shocked at what was happening around him as new components appeared, including some more complex cutting tools.

"Can you give me warning next time please Lord!" Lars yelled across as he walked towards them.

"Sorry!" Dom replied loudly, before asking the system to show the stats.

[Riverside Lumber Camp

"What ever you have done is great!" Lars commented as he arrived at the side of Dom, Lucius, Shang Yang and the guards. He picked up a chisel and a wooden hammer and weighed them in his hands. "These new tools are fantastic!"

"I am happy that it can be of use." Dom replied, "We need to increase our quantity so that we can keep up with our proposed growth. We now also have a Shipyard so will need wood sending their to help the building of the Ships."

"A Shipyard as well?" Lars thought for a few seconds, "One of my daughters is pretty adept at building ships, she’s been making the small fishing boats. I can send her to help for now until you have some more experienced people. Ideally though I need more labourers. We are also slowly starting to encroach in to the woods and it would be reassuring if you could explore further in and make sure it is safe."

"It is on the agenda." Lucius replied before Dom did, "We expect that we’ll be able to start doing that in the next few days."

"That is a relief." Lars replied with a smile, "I shall leave you to it as I have much to do. See you tomorrow Mayor Lucius for our meetings."

Dom and the group left and headed towards the east where the Warriors Halls were based. Banas was seen outside chatting with Octavian, whilst the Horse Archers were mainly in the stables caring for their horses. It seemed quite relaxed compared to previous days with people actually having time off rather than marching or fighting across the minuscule corner of World Conquest Online that they had claimed.

They headed towards the Legionary Warriors Hall and Dom requested the system use the Wooden Token on it. Suddenly beside the Legionary Warriors Hall a smaller Barracks appeared, with a closed of field beside it, the field had dummies and wooden weapons on racks inside it.

Octavian noticed this change and headed over with Banas and another similarly dressed Legionary that Dom hadn’t met yet. They seemed to be chatting happily as they arrived.

Training Field - Allows for Civilians and none Legionaries to Train and become members of the Ninth Legion. Legions were often filled with civilians of the Roman Empire who were from the areas the Legion was based, as the Ninth Legion the Legio IX Hispania is Riverside’s Legion, Riverside people can now train to join it.

"Good Morning Lord Lazarus!" Octavian announced, "Please meet Centurion Pullo of the second Century. Alongside me, you now have two Centurions and we should hopefully by the end of the month be able to field two full centuries."

"Well, I have upgraded the Legionary Warriors Hall." Dom replied, "So there will be a minimum of eight Legionnaires a day, plus the additional from the effect, so hopefully it will be sooner."

"Pleasure to meet you Lord." Pullo said as he saluted. Pullo was taller than Octavian, closer to six foot, and had burn scars on his exposed left arm. "May I ask, is that a training ground that has appeared?"

"Welcome to Riverside Pullo." Dom replied, "It is a Training Field, it allows you to train members of Riverside to join the Legion."

"Fresh Meat." Pullo grinned, a look of excitement in his eyes.

"My good brother Pullo here enjoys training recruits." Octavian commented, "He can be a bit stern, but we only take the best in the Ninth. This could be a good opportunity to supplement our strength."

"I’m sure as Riverside grows, we will have plenty of people for you." Shang Yang replied, "However, our priority must be domestic over Military for the next stage of our growth."

Pullo rolled his eyes in response, but didn’t say anything after noticing the look that Octavian had given him. Pullo was new and didn’t understand the hierarchy of Riverside yet, and that Shang Yang was one of the most senior.

"Then we shall wait for your convenience Chief Advisor Shang Yang." Octavian responded with a respectful nod, before heading in to the Legionary Warriors Hall followed by Pullo and Banas, who greeted them all happily and explained that the Cavalry Warriors Hall was fantastic and they were all very happy.

Dom stood with Shang Yang and Lucius in the middle of the Military District, trying to decide his next steps. He had his Military meeting with Subutai, as well as his Military Hero and Elite Villagers to spawn in.

"Let’s head to the Hero’s Hall." Shang Yang said, "Let’s welcome the new Hero first, and then head to the Military Meeting. I’m sure we can bring the Elite Villagers in after that and we can then refocus."

"Do you think...." Lucius began to say.

"No Lucius, I doubt they’ll want to be the Mayor." Shang Yang interrupted, whilst Dom just shook his head with a laugh as they entered the Heroes Hall.

Shang Yang sat on a floor cushion, whilst Lucius lay on his Chaise Lounge. They both began discussing farming and the benefits of different fertilizer styles, so Dom decided it was the ideal time to use the Orange Cube.

"System, please spawn the Warrior Hero!" Dom requested.

As usual, the system had challenged him with a choice and he wanted to make sure that he didn’t waste this option. There wasn’t any desert around them, even though they did have the plains, so he decided against this option straight away. He was left with two options, Island or Mountains. They lived on the continent, so they Island’s weren’t ideal, however they now had the Trireme, and Island people would be used to the water.

Gan Ning was an expert when it came to the Navy, and should be his Navy commander, however he was also intuitive and Dom relied on him too much to have him take over that situation. The other option was Mountains, they had Mountains near them and needed to explore them soon. However Tomyris was from a mountainous region and could potentially take over that task next. So he was torn. He decided that he would go for the one that would give him the most flexibility.

"Island." Dom replied, causing Shang Yang and Lucius to look at him, knowing this meant he had made a choice to a question and someone would spawn.

Hero Grade - B

Hero Strength - Fiercely Loyal and Decapitating Dueller

Tomoe Gozen was a Loyal Retainer to the Minamoto General, Minamoto Kiso Yoshinaka. They had shared a wet nurse together in their youth and had built a strong friendship, with Tomoe becoming one of his most fierce generals. She commanded up to one thousand men and and was feared by all for her one on one duelling skills.

Historically it is hard to tell the difference between truth and legend, however World Conquest Online confirms that Tomoe was as fierce as the Rumours say. She was also as beautiful as she was strong. A talented rider, as an Onna-Musha, or Warrior Woman who fought on the battlefield. She loyally thought alongside her Master, and also fought bitterly to avenge him after his fall.]

The door next to Subutai’s opened, and a beautiful woman in her early twenties who was around five foot four walked out. She had stunning shoulder length jet black hair, and slim black eyes with a pale complexion. She wore a red O-Yoroi, It was a heavy, box shaped armour with overlapping plates that covered her chest. She also wore long red shoulder greaves that went high to protect against any attacks at her neck. In her arm she carried a helmet with long devil horns on it. In her other hand was a two meter long Naginata which was a metal pole of just over one meter, wrapped in white leather, with the rest of the weapon being a sharp curved blade. On her side were two sheaved weapons, a Katana and a Kaiken, which was a short samurai dagger. She was both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

As she appeared, both Shang Yang and Lucius stopped what they were doing and gazed at her in shock, being one of the most beautiful women that either of them had ever seen. Dom was also shocked, and also realised that Japan where she was from originally was made up of over one thousand island, so even though he had chosen Islands for a reason, he had misunderstood the options.

"Tomoe Gozen at your service Lord." She said as she bowed her head low in respect. "It is a pleasure to be here with you."

"No Lady Tomoe, it is our pleasure to have you." Dom replied quickly, heading over and lifting her up before she bowed any further in the heavy armour. "Welcome to Riverside!"

"Yes welcome to Riverside!" Lucius said in agreement as she appeared.

"What are your expertise?" Shang Yang asked kindly as he stood up from the floor and made his way over.

"I am adept at both a melee with the infantry or fighting from horseback." She politely responded with a smile that would stop a charging army. "I am looking forward to finding my next challenge and opponents to defeat. I do love a good duel!"

"I’m sure Senior Commander Subutai will find a place within the structure that will suit your skill sets." Shang Yang replied, "There will be a senior commander meeting shortly, so you have arrived at the right time to be involved in it."

"That is great, I’m looking forward to getting started!" She replied happily.

"I’ll take you over." Shang Yang smiled, causing Dom and Lucius to look at each other in shock at how the stern and ever thinking Shang Yang had a soft side. "The Lord and the Mayor can join us soon, as I know they have some other important tasks to complete."

Shang Yang in his Daoist robes was followed outside of the Heroes Hall by a heavily armoured Tomoe Gozen, who was still holding her Naginata as she marched. Lucius stood dazed for a couple of seconds before turning to Dom.

"What just happened?" Lucius asked.

"I think Shang Yang has gone soft?" Dom replied, equally as confused.

"I mean, she was possibly the most beautiful person I have ever seen." Lucius replied, "Other than my wife of course!"

"Yes, of course." Dom agreed, "She’s also terrifying."

"Terrifying." Lucius nodded in agreement. "Well, let’s go spawn the Elite Villagers and then you can rescue Tomoe from Shang Yang."

"Ok Mr Mayor, let’s do that." Dom said as he headed towards the door. "Aren’t we supposed to do the meeting and then the Elite Villagers?"

"Let’s do the Elite Villagers, it gives Subutai to take Tomoe’s skills in to his calculations. I also think it’s best I stay Mayor for a while longer." Lucius said as they got to the door, "Everyone that arrives is a monster."

Dom thought for a second of his Hero’s, he had Lucius who was a monster in his own right. He also had Shang Yang an S Class Hero who was a great administrator and legal expert. His Warriors however were where the monsters really happened; Gan Ning, his merciless warrior who had great tactics for ambushes and subterfuge. He then had Tomyris of Massagetae, a strong and vengeful woman who was fiercer than most of the other warriors on the battlefield. He then had Tomoe Gozen, an early version of a female samurai, who was an expert at duels and decapitating her foes. Finally he had his S Class Hero Subutai, one of the most successful generals in all of history, who had his eagle Genghis by his side.

"Monsters." Dom agreed as they left and headed towards the Town Centre.
