After sending my two sisters out of the room and changing clothes, I slapped my cheeks a few times to force myself awake, then headed out with them.

This morning’s schedule started with a visit to my dad. First, because I’d promised before the break to have my wound checked, and second... to ask him for money.

I didn’t have a choice. My wallet had been taken by Kan Tsukiyo, and if I wanted to get Lillian a proper gift, the only option was to hit Dad up for cash.

To be fair, when it came to allowance, my dad was always pretty generous. No matter how much I asked for, he just gave it to me. Once, he even got tired of the whole routine and just handed me his bank card... which earned him a long scolding from Mom about being clueless. After that, she took over managing the allowance.

But this time was kind of unexpected, so I had no choice but to go to Dad for help.

Even though it was only about seven in the morning, the hospital was already packed with patients lining up. Spring Rain Hospital was the most famous hospital in the city, and Dad was well-known too. I figured most people came because of his reputation.

The wait for registration took a while, and by the time my turn came, it was already close to ten. Dad didn’t give me any special treatment just because I was his son—queueing up was still part of the deal.

Honestly, just being able to register and get seen on the same day was already a rare privilege. That’s thanks to my dad’s insane work efficiency... Sometimes I even wondered if he had some kind of superpower.

We came prepared, of course. Brought a portable charger and watched two hours of drama shoulder to shoulder, the three of us. Strangely enough, Serena and Cora were a lot more restrained here than they were at home. No weird poses leaning against me, no tiny feet resting on my shoulders. It was... peaceful. I almost wanted to stay in the hospital longer... Come to think of it, even during my last stay, it was really comfortable. The nurse sisters took care of everything...

I shook my head hard, trying to knock those messy thoughts out of my skull, then pushed the door open and walked in.

Dad already knew we were coming and didn’t say much. He just got straight to examining my wound.

He looked at the area where the stitches had already been removed, the wound basically healed. He stayed silent for a while, and in the end, didn’t ask how I’d gotten it. Just handed me some extra money and sent the three of us on our way.

...Yeah. He must’ve figured something out. But why didn’t he ask?

He looked like he wanted to say something but held back. Still, it wasn’t something I could bring up from my side either, so in the end, I left without telling him anything.

After leaving the hospital, we went straight to lunch. Cora dragged us out for spicy crawfish.

Once again, passersby on the street were casting those gray emotional glances at me. From their perspective, I probably looked like some life-winning playboy /N_o_v_e_l_i_g_h_t/ with a girl on each arm...

Especially since Serena and Cora were—objectively—the cutest girls in the world. Anyone would be jealous seeing two stunning beauties clinging to my arms like that.

Too bad they didn’t know the truth—that they were my sisters...

Come to think of it, siblings sticking this close together like lovers probably wasn’t a common sight. Actually, back then, we were more like actual siblings.

I used to think Serena hated me, and that Cora was just some innocent little girl... but now, things had taken a very different turn.

I needed to find boyfriends for them ASAP. Seriously. I had to figure this out fast.

Lyna giggled wickedly as she elbowed me in the chest and gave me a teasing look.

When I clarified that Serena and Cora were my sisters, Lyna pointed at each of them in turn with a stunned expression, then gave me a baffled look.

She promptly dragged Lyna off. Lyna was still muttering, “Huh? Why are you pulling me? I wanted to eat with them...” only to get snapped at in Japanese—“Are you an idiot?!”—by Kaede before disappearing.

Once they were gone, the three of us found a booth and sat down.

After placing our order, Cora suddenly asked me a question.

“Brother, who was that just now?”

“Huh? You mean Lyna? She’s my classmate.”

“I know. She’s the one who sits next to you, right? I mean... what kind of person is she?”

Then Serena, who had been quiet until now, spoke up.
