The Rule-Breaker of the Doomsday Game

All the survivors were dumbfounded. They didn’t understand why the Apocalypse Game had suddenly changed.

Three hours would have been possible, but one hour was definitely not.

So he’d changed his approach: hide off to the side and circle around behind the Blood Moon right after it impacted.

He didn’t need much. Just a single tissue sample from the Blood Moon would suffice.

Even a piece the size of a fingernail would do.

The Tai Sui God slowly powered up. Qi Suian glanced at the Apocalypse Game’s event page; it was one of the few functions he could still access.

However, he could only look; he wouldn’t be able to receive any of the rewards.

Therefore, he had to prepare for the possibility that the Apocalypse Game wouldn’t transport him out of this world. After obtaining the Blood Moon’s sample, if the game truly left him behind, he would head for the corpse of the Profound God.

Whether the planet was shattered by the Blood Moon or occupied by it, the outcome was the same for Qi Suian: survival was impossible.

It seemed the Blood Moon clearly remembered the two shots Qi Suian had fired, otherwise it wouldn’t be singling him out.

The AI didn’t retaliate, prioritizing evasion instead.

The Wind Master Aviation System, in coordination with the AI, the structural-integrity chip, the reconnaissance network, and the satellites, made the Tai Sui God so agile that every attack missed.

The attacks were too fast for the AI to react to in real time, but it could predict them in advance.

It also used its Floating Cannons for supplementary boosts, and by Qi Suian’s estimation, they could hold out for another two hours without a problem.

However, the Tai Sui God didn’t just continue dodging. It took a wide detour, evading the mass of vicious tentacles while steadily closing in on the Blood Moon.

The flight to the Blood Moon’s surface had taken quite some time. The event countdown in the Apocalypse Game showed only one minute left.

Without hesitation, he ripped an eyeball, nerves and all, directly from the Blood Moon’s surface.

"I just want to live!" Qi Suian retorted after stowing the tissue sample.

’I can accept the mission to save the world, but why do I have to die to do it?’

"Well then, goodbye," Qi Suian said softly.

As the countdown for the "Night of the Blood Moon" event reached zero, Qi Suian felt a powerful force pulling him away.
