Knock knock sounded at door.

Door opened, a tall man around 5’7" stepped in through door.

Middle aged man raised head to look at the door, who have come "You are here. Take a seat."

Middle aged man has brushes around neck to left side of face, a deep cut on left side just below forehead.

"So what is the final result! were people of alliance successful! or even they failed to capture them?"

"Leaving only leader, they captured everyone else."

"Always the leader huh! so did they get what i want."

"Yes, no issue there. They looted everything that was found there." just then he took out a storage ring out of his sleeve.

"Inside phee stones, alchemy herbs, weapons, phee fruits, are stored separately. And each copy of pill recipe, weapon diagram, fighting manuals and power symbols are stored in one place. Everything is here calculating your share."

Taking ring on my palm "What about phee stone quality and quantity."

"Yes, when our awakeners ambushed them with two hundred, their hundred more hidden force came out during fight. Because our side couldn’t overwhelmed them too much and finish quickly, leader got the chance to use some higher level dimension breaker than our installed dimension barrier could hold.

More than hundred and fifty above super obviously doesn’t have much use of basic stone. So according to that this huge amount should be their total accumulated wealth over years." After explaining he pondered on a moment before asked,

Do you wish to meet any of those captives?

"No need, i have no affair with them. Even same for those victims, i won’t meet anyone of them even if you request for it. If everything is finished then, i’m taking my leave." Fishing our trade i stood up to leave.

"Wait hear my last words, because of your contribution you can ask for one favour from me anytime. I will fulfill as long as it is in my right and power."

"Is that alliance’s offer?"

"No, they don’t know any third party was involved. They are giving me some leeway and few advantages that will help me personally. So i am returning you that favor."

"I will remember if i need anything someday." I walked out thanking him by waving my hand.

On way out of city

’Yes, obviously he will doubt someone like me. But if Xingning was not involved, then i wouldn’t have gone to him. Take it out musa, place it on cave floor.’

Inside the cave walls suddenly light up with multicolour rays reflecting and illuminating upon cave. No light escaped because cave is closed from inside by boulder.

A broken multicoloured branch is laying on ground.

’Musa, protect my body incase something happens and my soul energy shield breaks even if takes your remaining soul energy.

’I know master’

’Don’t know what exactly is it. But soul related any item is always welcome.’

Slowly transparent soul energy erupted from forehead and wrapped around the branch and slowly passed through bark and went inside the broken branch.

No reaction came from it, but i kept feeding it my soul energy.

Seconds, ten seconds, minute, ten minutes.

Finally at ten minutes mark it vibrated slightly, my motivation peaked seeing this and i continued feeding it slowly.

Time passed with broken branch vibrating from time to time with increased frequency of vibration.

As vibration increased over time, after hour later even cave floor is shaking because of contact with branch.

Two hours later, sweat is pouring in buckets. Cave is shaking, it is giving feeling of falling down on top me any minute. This is far longest time i have done any activity continuously without any stopping in middle.

Another five minutes later something clicked inside the branch and it’s skin started cracking and vibration kept increasing with even myself shaking. I could feel a connection have established between me and this branch through soul energy. It stopped absorbing energy the moment it’s outer skin started peeling, i also stopped any leaking and took back all energy leaving only soul shield on body.

In next moment it vanished from it’s place in split moment and i felt something was wrong.

’Musa, double cover.’ Musa’s soul energy also flowed out from bracelet and covered around my shield. Just exact moment after that
