Hundreds of km far away, Musa crouched on top of a branch while looking at front. Only motionless beasts visible on his sight.

Few hundred m in front of him only trees, plants visible.

But his violet eyes showed something else.

Devoid of elemental particles passing through a spot at front. Empty space having outline of a oval shape upper portion with tentacles below.

He contacted Gin and described what he was observing.

’Yes, that’s right. Same as that soul creature. How many have you spotted yet.’

’It is first one.’

’Check the surroundings of few km, there can be more than two. And what about that group of four.’

’They are not here master. Also all beasts have been moved from their previous spot.’

’Okay. Act according to situation, save them if you can after finding them. No need to risk your life if situation is unfavourable for you.’

’Noted master.’

Musa left the place soon after and searched around other areas.

Time passed.

Upto two km at surroundings have been searched and not finding another creature nor any of those four he increased the range.

After five km he found another creature but not those four people, only tranced beasts everywhere.

But he didn’t increase his searching range by as much and kept checking other areas around in circle.

Eventually he found third and fourth creature in two different direction and also that group of people.

’This!’

Musa increased his range of search.

Ten km. He found Five more.

Twenty km. Seven more from after that.

Thirty km. Nine more after that.

At fifty km he stopped. Silently looked around but didn’t explore anymore. Euphoria ahead is more higher in density, it is already difficult for him to guard from its effect.

’It is like a hive. A colony of soul creatures building their nests just apart from each other.’

Contacting Gin he reported his findings.

’Hmm...’

Gin stayed silent after finished listening to his explanation.

’So what do you think according to your calculation? can you take out those four out of there?’

’Very high chances of success. They are at the very edge of this hive. Just another creature up ahead at left side on way up to road back. Since this creatures doesn’t react until tempered with its food or hurt a member of their group according to what happened previously during with master.’

’That’s right, it only reacted after i freed a beast under its control. Probably these creatures doesn’t have consciousness of their surroundings, only stays half conscious. Their main weapon should be their ability to control souls through euphoria, maybe also illusion or other soul related ability. And most importantly their soul body.’

’Yes, as long as i kill it in one shot with soul spear. Escaping with those four will be easy since their speed was also not that great in that memory.’

’Ok, remember to check that creature’s position up ahead before going to assassinate the creature at back. Incident doesn’t come announcing.’

Musa mentally nodded agreeing with Gin.

Turning back on returning way violet lightning covered him as he flew back.

He didn’t stop until crossing forty km. Landing on ground surrounded by tranced beasts, activated elemental sight. Violet particles covered his pupil as looked ahead at the spot where the soul creature is.

This is area of furthest corner of five km circle of first creature he found.

’!!!’

Musa looked around in front as far his elemental sight could reach. ’Shit! where did it go.’

While he was confusingly looking ahead trying to spot the creature which is not in its previous location.

He felt elements shift behind him since his sense toward every element is already high lightened while using elemental sight.

Without a word he left the ground, flew upward while lightning covered his every pore with each distance he crossed above.

He looked back toward where he was previously after lightning covered him fully. But he didn’t stop his flight.

A soul creature was floating on his place with its tentacles still in grabbing motion.

Its oval head moved slightly but he didn’t know where it was even looking since it doesn’t have any eyes or mouth through his spiritual sight.

He eventually used spiritual sense since there is no longer any secrecy as the creature is already aware of him.

He hesitated where to observe it for some moment or just make a run immediately.

But creature didn’t wait for him, grey particles gathered above the creature’s head and instantly Musa felt it, being locked on by the yet not released spiritual attack.

Not taking any chances he took out the soul spear given to him.

Locking on to the creature he released it while creature also fired spiritual beam at upward.

Spear travelled through the air, cutting the air present around swiftly while even space fabric fluctuated to break apart on its presence.

Soon both creature’s spiritual attack and soul spear collided with each other. No violent explosion happened.

Spear wiped out the beam of spiritual energy like bursting a air balloon, striking the creature while wiping it out. Vaporising it completely from existence.

Like a titan meeting an ant.

Only a round shell fell down after its death.

’Master, there is a mishap.’

Gin in underground beside essence lake.

’What happened?’ He wasn’t surprised since nothing is absolute. Even with perfect plan result can be disastrous.

Musa explained what exactly happened with word by word.

After listening to everything he only commanded ’Leave immediately.’
