Right now, only me and Lola are seated inside her dorm. I’m on a small red couch while Lola sits on her really large bed, balancing her lower horse body on it with her legs folded.

I’ve done a bit of research on Centaurs and learned a few things. While they have the lower body of a horse, their anatomy is quite different from actual horses. For one, their upper body—which looks fragile at first glance is actually the sturdiest part of them, packed with some of the strongest muscles in the world. Their horse-like lower body is also shorter than a real horse’s, with far more powerful legs than any horse could dream of.

Focusing my gaze back on Lola, her face is really red and she looks nervous, glancing at me every now and then. I’m also short of words, but I rack my brain trying to start a conversation. Lasawani basically locked the two of us in here so we could bond and get used to each other before tomorrow.

"A-Ahem... Jacob, should I serve you some juice?" she suddenly asks in a meek voice.

"Sure, I would appreciate that," I reply with a nod.

She gets up and walks to the fridge. When she reaches the small fridge, she bends forward, lowering her front legs. It looks uncomfortable at first, but since she doesn’t show any signs of discomfort, I guess it must be normal for her.

She walks back and hands me a glass of juice.

"Thank you very much," I say as I take the cup and begin drinking.

"So what brought you to this place?" she suddenly asks.

"I want to gain some popularity. What about you?" I ask. I see her eyes furrow a bit.

"I... I’m here because I have no choice. I was kicked out of my family after I got this useless Class. Most of my clan members usually acquire the warrior class or rare artisan classes. After I was kicked out, I started getting penalties for not doing anything related to my class, so out of desperation, I came here," she reveals. Her eyes turn teary, as if she’s about to cry.

Hearing her words, it sounds like the typical thing a bunch of muscleheads like Centaurs would do. I don’t say anything for a while and simply watch her as she clenches her fists.

"Do you hate this Class?" I ask. Of course, I’m not supposed to ask this when she’s literally crying about getting kicked out.

Lola balls her fists even tighter. "Is that even a question? Everyone hates this class with passion. It strips away one’s dignity. As a Centaur, my dignity really matters."

I simply sip the last drop of juice, set the cup on the table, and slouch back on the couch.

"Lola, I told you earlier that I’m here to gain some popularity. The truth is, after I achieve that, I want to create my own studio. To do that, I need a crew—not just any crew. I need partners, actresses that would be exclusive to me only. I see that you’d be a good fit, which is why I’m proposing this. Since I’ll be the one to take your first time, will you be exclusive to me?"

Immediately after I say this, I notice Lola’s eyes widen and her balled fists relax under my gaze.

"B-But will the studio accept that? I told Lasawani about it but she didn’t say anything," Lola reveals.

"If our performance tomorrow exceeds expectations, you can request to only shoot with me. It’s in our contract, you can decline to shoot with another actor."

Lola doesn’t say anything for a while as she seems lost in deep thought. Then she suddenly looks at me.

"We haven’t known each other for long. Before I form an exclusive contract with you, I have to know you better and see if you have any ulterior motives. Also, I hope you realize that forming an exclusive contract with you means you’ll be responsible for me. You’ll have to marry me too," Lola says with a serious expression, though the blush on her face can’t be hidden.

At the same time, I’m dazed by her logical reasoning. She didn’t just outright accept my proposal. She insisted on knowing me better, which shows she’s cautious even though she seems naive.

"Sure, I’m aware of that. But I want you to know I have other people to marry. I don’t know if that’s going to be a problem," I say truthfully.

Lola simply looks at me with wide eyes, probably wondering where I got my confidence from. Then she suddenly starts laughing.

"You are a really strange one. You didn’t even try to hide that from me. Do you realize Centaurs are known to value relationships and monogamy? But I don’t really care about that since the very people I cherished kicked me out without a second thought. I’m fine with mating with one partner—even if my partner is a pervert, it doesn’t matter as long as you’re responsible. That’s why I said I need to study you a bit more before becoming exclusive to you. However, I will request to only shoot with you after tomorrow," Lola says, and I nod my head.

"That’s understandable."

"Let’s play some cards!" Lola suddenly says. She gets up, walks to her side drawers, and brings out some cards.

We played cards for several hours. I took quite a lot of losses from Lola and only managed to win once. Before we knew it, time had flown by, and for some reason the air conditioner in the room grew colder.

Lola lies down on the bed and I lie next to her. Both of us wrap ourselves tightly under the duvet. It feels really strange lying down next to her because she takes up almost all the space on the bed, so I sleep on the edge. It doesn’t take long before I drift off to sleep.
