Sienna looked up when a pillow landed on her bed. She blinked when she saw Hunter standing in the doorway, wearing nothing but his pajama bottoms.

A bewildered look crossed her face. "What are you doing here?"

Instead of answering her, he walked in casually and shut the door behind him.

"Hunter!" She put a warning edge in her tone, "I’m asking you something."

Hunter stretched his arms and yawned loudly, "Nice room!" He looked at the clutter she had created and shook his head, "I cleaned your room again, in the evening, and now it looks like a bomb exploded in here."

Sienna sat up in irritation, pulling her brows together, "Hunter," She started looking for her silk robe that could cover her half-nakedness.

The silk chemise she was wearing kept threatening to expose her boobs whenever she was in deep sleep. It didn’t even cover her thighs, and she didn’t want Hunter to see her naked ass because she wasn’t wearing panties.

Didn’t someone teach him not to invade anyone’s personal space?

With a clenched jaw, she got up and removed her laptop to check her robe. Then she moved away her magazines.

She then crouched to search under the bed, momentarily forgetting the issue with the panties. Thank God, she remembered, but maybe it was too late because when she straightened, Hunter’s face was red with amusement.

"Jerk!" She whispered and placed her hand behind her.

"Asshole!" Her eyes widened when he uttered the word. She spun around on her heel.

"Excuse me?"

He rolled his lips between his teeth, "When you bent... your asshole..."

Sienna looked around, then picked up a notebook to throw at him. But the attack failed because he was ready for it and blocked it by placing his arm in front of his face.

She squeezed her eyes and then sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for him to say something.

And when the words came out of his mouth, she was baffled.

"I’m sleeping here," He informed her.

"You’re... what?"

"Sleeping!" He closed his eyes and tilted his head to one side, trying to act. Though she couldn’t see his eyes, he let his tongue hang out to one side.

She stared at him, "No, you’re not."

"Why not? I like this room," He said with a sigh and looked around.

She got to her feet, "Go back to your room, Hunter!" she snapped.

He leaned against the wall, watching her struggle with her slip, which had a big neckline, enough to spill her boobs, and a high hem to show her ass. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"Do you need help with the dress?" He asked lazily, but she had already seen mischievousness on his face.

Hunter didn’t reply, instead, he pushed himself off the wall and started walking towards her. Sienna’s body tensed up.

Why is he coming this way?

He kept walking with an expressionless face. She didn’t know whether she should get to her feet and run or stay there and punch his face... or maybe his glasses.

He got closer and slowly leaned over her. Sienna started moving back until her back hit the bed. Her heart had started racing.

"Wh... what do you want, Hunter?"

He didn’t answer, nor did he stop. He leaned even further as his arm moved past her shoulder. Sienna swallowed hard and then frowned when his hand came into her view... holding something.

Her robe.

One side of his mouth curled into a lazy, mischievous grin.

"Looking for this?" He dangled the cloth in front of her eyes, "It was under your pillow."

Sienna was dumbfounded, "You knew!" She tried to push him back, but now his body was shaking with mirth.

"You saw my gown under that pillow..." she raised her finger in rage, "yet you chose to stay quiet..."

His lips pressed together as he bit back his grin and tipped his chin near her neckline.

"What!" she shot back.

"Your neckline ... you aren’t holding it anymore, and I can see your round boobs... ouch!" he couldn’t protect himself when she started throwing punches at him.

"You cheapster... you jerk!"

Before she could land another hit, Hunter caught both her wrists easily.

"Hey!" She protested, struggling to free her hands, but in the next second, he pushed forward, making her fall back onto the bed.

He came down with her, bracing his weight above her, pinning her hands gently on either side.

Her breath caught in her throat.

"Done?" He sounded slightly breathless, looking down at her flushed face.

"No! Now let me go or..."

"Not until you calm down."

"I am calm, Hunter," she retorted.

"Just a while back, you were punching me."

"Self-defense, Hunter. Self-defense..."

He bit back a laugh, shaking his head, "I wish I could kiss you, but I’m afraid that I might end up making you cry."

Sienna stared at him and then scoffed, "Now move. I need to sleep," Because tomorrow I have to reach the hospital before my father’s fake funeral.

After a few seconds, Hunter let go of her wrists and rolled over, lying beside her on the bed. They both stared at the ceiling.

For once, none of them spoke.

"Who is Sienna Mason?"

His unexpected question caught her off guard, "Hmm?" She didn’t dare to turn her head to look at him.

He propped on his elbow and looked down at her face, "I want to know you... Who is Sienna Mason?"

Sienna still avoided eye contact and shrugged, "Sometimes I also want to know... who am I... what I want? What am I even doing here?"

Hunter brushed a strand of hair back and started rolling another around his index finger.

"Who’s Hunter Levisay?" She asked him in a whisper, "I want to know about him, too."

Hunter pinched her chin and leaned ahead to kiss it, "How about I take you on a date first?"

She chuckled nervously, "Date?"

"Yeah..." He turned and picked up a pillow to place under her head, "Will you go with me?"

She thought for a moment and then nodded at him, "Yeah. I’d love to."

Hunter took off his glasses and placed them on the nightstand. He then switched off the lamp and lay beside her. When his arm draped over her, she smiled in the dark.

For the first time, she didn’t want to know about his eye color. Nor did she mind that they were tangled across the bed in a messy position instead of lying straight.
