"Hunter!" She called, casually tilting back her head slightly with a bright grin on her face, "Will you accompany me?"

The offer was unexpected, which snapped him out of it.

"Me?" He placed his index finger over his chest, "Fine."

Sienna’s smile widened, "Good. Go and change. Make it fast."

She sounded almost like a mom, scolding her child.

"In a minute!" Hunter raced towards his room and then came back wearing a deep navy shirt with well-fitted trousers. As always, the top button of his shirt was open, and the sleeves were rolled up.

"Wow!" She blurted out before she could realize it. Heat traveled to her cheeks as she diverted her gaze.

"What, wow? Am I looking handsome?" He couldn’t hide the mischievous grin that graced his lips.

"Yeah," She rolled her eyes, "A little bit."

Her answer made him chuckle.

Hunter was happy to be her driver for the night. He was already uneasy about letting her go all alone to a hotel. His gut told him that the meeting involved Tom.

They drove to the Royal Hotel together. It was already buzzing with people. Near the entrance, a few well-dressed men stood talking among themselves. The moment they saw her heading towards them, they recognized her.

"Are you meeting them?" Hunter muttered under his breath, "Which company are they representing?"

Sienna tried to act innocent, shrugging casually, "They weren’t accepting my deal, so Tom promised to help me with it."

Hunter wasn’t satisfied with her answer, but before he could question her further, Sienna went ahead, approaching the group.

"Gentlemen," She greeted with a nervous smile, "Thank you for coming."

A man from the group approached her for a handshake, "Thank you, Ms. Mason. Are you sure Thomas Blackwell will agree to this deal?"

Sienna shook her head as she clamped her lips, "I hope so. Thomas Blackwell is a very good man; he’s also my brother-in-law..." As she was speaking, a group of men carrying cameras and mics came to her immediately, trying to record.

Before Hunter could stop them, Sienna subtly placed her hand on his arm, holding him back, and then smiled for the cameras, "Thomas Blackwell assured me that he will help me in the best possible way, and I trust his word," She clasped her hands lightly in front of her as she addressed those reporters.

Standing behind her, Hunter had sensed that his wife was up to something, and it involved Tom. The way she was singing praises of the man, he wanted to clamp a hand over her mouth.

She might be his contract wife, but the way she was talking about another man wasn’t acceptable to him.

And what were they even doing there? As a secretary, why was he not informed about all this?

He needed to have a serious conversation with his wife.

She might have felt his discomfort because she suddenly turned around and flashed a seductive smile at him, "These cameramen were needed here. I want us to be famous when this deal gets finalized."

She might be acting casual, but her eyes were pleading with him silently to go with the flow. He gave a subtle nod and forced a small smile on his face, "That’s great, Sia," He raised his hand to fix a loose strand of her hair and made a mental note to buy her diamonds.

After the conversation was about to wrap up, Sienna took a small step towards Hunter and leaned in, dropping her voice to a whisper, "Hey. Can you bring them to the room upstairs? Umm, ten to fifteen seconds later?"

Hunter watched her face and slid his arm around her waist a little possessively, "Sure. Don’t worry."

With a satisfied grin, she stepped away and started walking to the elevators. Hunter eyed the group of business associates and reporters and gestured for them to follow him. They were meant to take another elevator to reach Tom’s floor.

Tom gave a once-over to his reflection in the mirror and smiled. For the first time, he felt nervous and giddy like a teenager while waiting for Sienna.

He turned back to look at the king-sized bed where he was about to fuck her. How would her body feel against me?

Before she could move, he heard footsteps behind her. His smile faltered a little as he watched past her. A group of people was heading towards them, holding cameras, microphones, and flashing lights.

The man leading that group was Hunter. Tom’s face drained of color.

Sienna gasped as her hand flew to her mouth. Her face had turned pale, "Oh, God... these people..." She whispered and looked shocked.

But it was too late.

The cameras were already on him while microphones were shoved on his face. They were saying something or maybe asking something.

But he couldn’t hear anyone.
