The Flowing Cloud Sect’s group had only ten members, their Cultivations also at or above the Foundation Establishment Early Stage. Their leader was a man in white with a sword on his back named Weii Qing.

A moment ago, one of the Su Family’s retainers from the Sealed Ancient Land had been blasted into a bloody mist.

The problem was, even at his current level of Cultivation, he was no match for the more than thirty disciples from the Noble Families and Sects, all of whom were at or above the Foundation Establishment Early Stage Realm—not unless he was willing to play all his trump cards.

Two of them blocked the gate while the third stood in his way, cutting off Jiang Jichen’s paths of advance and retreat.

"Kid, get over there and bring me that Ancient Pill from the Medicine Cauldron. If you don’t, you die!"

The one who spoke was from the Flowing Cloud Sect, a Cultivator at the Foundation Establishment Early Stage Realm.

He stared coldly at Jiang Jichen, his posture reeking of arrogance, his eyes treating Jiang Jichen like an animal to be ordered about.

An animal to be slaughtered if it disobeyed.

Jiang Jichen had intended to leave. Even with these people blocking his way, he knew that if he truly wanted to go, no one here could stop him.

But now, he suddenly changed his mind.

’Since they’re so *sincerely* asking me to retrieve the Ancient Pill for them, how could I possibly refuse?’

Ignoring the stunned gazes of the crowd, Jiang Jichen kept stomping his boot onto the Flowing Cloud Sect cultivator’s face.

Even though his victim was an Early-stage Foundation Establishment Cultivator, under the sheer force of Jiang Jichen’s Body Refining Innate Ninth Layer, he was completely unable to condense even a shred of Spiritual Power. All he could do was wail ceaselessly as Jiang Jichen continued to kick him.

If Jiang Jichen hadn’t been holding back, that first kick alone would have been enough to make the man’s head explode.

Jiang Jichen was still holding back. By the time the disciples from the Noble Families and Sects finally reacted, the Flowing Cloud Sect cultivator had been kicked senseless, his head swollen up like a pig’s.

The disciples from the Noble Families and Sects roared as they snapped out of their stupor, and the two Su Family Cultivators behind Jiang Jichen lunged at him.

However, Jiang Jichen didn’t stop. He gave the Flowing Cloud Sect cultivator one last forceful kick, and the man finally passed out.

Just then, the two Early-stage Foundation Establishment Cultivators from the Su Family reached him. Jiang Jichen met each of their attacks with a palm strike of his own before gracefully retreating to a safe distance.

Even Su Feng and Weii Qing were inwardly shocked to see that Jiang Jichen, a mere Innate Ninth Realm cultivator, could fight two Early-stage Foundation Establishment Cultivators from the Su Family to a standstill.

"We said, hands off! Why didn’t you listen? Are you looking for a death wish?"

Su Feng, Weii Qing, and a group of Late-Stage Foundation Establishment Realm Cultivators walked over, and it was Su Feng who spoke, his voice cold.
