He carefully placed it in her hair and said, "Auntie, this glowing hairpin looks so beautiful on you!"

Having returned to her usual self, Jiang Ling’Er asked with a giggle.

And sure enough, the Little Gray Skeleton glanced up at Jiang Ling’Er’s hair, only to quickly turn its head away.

Seeing that they were being ignored, Prince Wuling, far from growing angry, actually smiled. "I don’t know whether what Young Master Feng says is important or not, but I’ve heard you care a great deal for those servants and maids from the Five Mansions. What if I were to slaughter all the men and feed their minced flesh to the dogs? As for the women... I could throw them into a brothel and force them to service a thousand customers a day. What do you think of that?"

"What does any of this have to do with them? Do you think the Law Enforcers of the Cultivation World don’t exist?"

Hearing Prince Wuling’s words, Jiang Jichen’s calm facade shattered, his expression changing drastically.

Prince Wuling’s smile widened. He felt he had finally found Jiang Jichen’s weakness, but his voice was chillingly cold as he said, "The Law Enforcers are high and mighty; why would they bother with such trivial matters? Jiang Jichen took a deep breath, forcing himself to remain calm. "Then what do you think I should do?"

And so, Jiang Jichen turned to Feng Tianxing, his voice calm as he repeated the question, "Then what do you think I should do?"

Feng Tianxing shot Prince Wuling an appreciative glance, thinking he was quite a useful man to have around.

His gaze fell upon Jiang Jichen. He knew the boy was proud, and he relished seeing proud people forced to submit to him.

"Kneel down now and kowtow to me a thousand times in front of everybody. And then? Cripple your own Cultivation. Sever your four limbs... no, all five of them. Haha..."

Feng Tianxing grew more excited as he spoke, finally breaking into a crazed, uncontrollable laugh.

’Toying with someone so bold, arrogant, and proud... holding him in the palm of his hand... was a uniquely satisfying feeling.’

"Anything else?"

Jiang Jichen asked faintly.
