Ryan held the communication relic in his hands a little longer. His gloved fingers traced over the metallic surface of the small silver object in complete silence.

The light of the floating dungeon reflected off the tiny magical arrays engraved on the piece.

Then, in a calculated movement, he dropped it and enclosed it within his fist. He squeezed his hand firmly, feeling the edges of the earring dig slightly against the leather.

He directed his gaze toward Helen, evaluating the sweaty body of the warrior right in front of him.

"You will go and take this relic to Beatrice, Helen." Ryan said with a firm and commanding voice.

The echo of his order resonated against the cold stone walls of the dungeon’s main entrance.

"Yes!" Mirian said excitedly.

The archer raised both of her arms into the air, showing an enormous and genuine smile of triumph. She celebrated with pure joy at not being chosen for the tedious task of traveling all the way back to the distant nation.

"Hey!" Helen grumbled in the face of Mirian’s sheer excitement.

The black-haired girl gritted her teeth, feeling deeply offended by her companion’s open mockery. Then she returned her gaze to Ryan, furrowing her brow and crossing her arms beneath her breasts.

"Why does it have to be me. It is not fair." The warrior complained with an evident tone of grievance.

"If you want, I can take it, Ryan..." Irina commented timidly.

The elf girl’s voice sounded low and nervous. She peeked her blushing face out a little further, offering herself to spare the others from the bother.

"No, absolutely not, you must stay here." He responded immediately, cleanly cutting off her proposal.

She nodded, lowering her gaze.

’What a nuisance, now she is acting exactly like a little girl again.’ Ryan thought, letting out a light sigh through his nose.

Then he took a step forward, planting himself right next to Helen, significantly shortening the distance between their bodies.

"I need it to be you." He said, looking her intently straight in the eyes.

"You are the strongest; if anything unexpected arises, I completely trust that you will resolve it with ease."

Ryan lowered his voice a little, injecting the absolute perfect amount of adulation to feed the warrior’s enormous pride.

"Or am I perhaps completely wrong?" He asked, challenging her confidence with a deep, piercing gaze.

"W-Well, if you put it like that..." The girl babbled, feeling the intense heat rush directly up to her cheeks immediately.

The heavy blush extended across her face upon hearing the direct acknowledgment of her immense destructive power.

"I suppose you are entirely right; there are no other viable options, right?" She said, smiling with total arrogance.

"Give me that thing. I will be the one to take it to the weak demoness." Helen added, referring directly to Beatrice.

She extended her open hand toward the boy’s chest, waiting to receive the small magical artifact.

And Ryan gave her the relic, letting the silver earring drop right onto her sweaty palm.

She stored it among her things immediately, securely placing the object into one of her pockets. And she took a step backward, completely ready to move toward the abyss that connected with the exterior of the dungeon.

"You only need to deliver it; she is currently staying at the inn closest to the eastern entrance." Ryan explained in a clear manner.

"So you will not have any difficulty in finding her." Ryan said, formulating the absolute simplicity of the delivery plan.

"I just have to deliver it, and then I must return, is that right, Ryan?"

"Yes, in fact. I need you to return as quickly as entirely possible."

"Then, I will leave right this instant." She said with an enormous smile on her face illuminated by the light filtering in from the exterior.

The magical illusion covered her true features right before completely disappearing into the rift of the sky dungeon’s portal.

"What is she even doing!" Irina said excitedly. The elf girl ran straight toward the very edge of the portal, with her eyes completely wide open.

"She jumped right into the void!" She shouted, knowing perfectly well the immense drop that separated the structure in the sky from the ocean far below.

"Do not worry, absolutely nothing will happen to her. Probably." Mirian added with a bitter smile and her arms tightly crossed.

"What do you mean ’probably’?" Irina commented with a look of profound worry locked straight onto the archer.

And she peeked outside the portal, pressing her hands firmly against the rough edge so as not to lose her balance.

Actively trying to spot her companion’s silhouette falling through the thick clouds.

"That highly worries me too." The assistant confessed, furrowing her brow with notable unease.

"She doesn’t plan to cross the ocean by swimming to reach Kallistia, does she? Why exactly did she not take the wyvern. That is exactly why we brought him over here in the first place." Alicia added, pointing directly at the enormous winged beast.

’It seems she got a bit too excited over the mission.’ Ryan thought, evaluating his heroine’s sheer impulsivity.

While he squatted down slowly right in front of the large wyvern that was still resting by his side on the floor.

"Vel, go with her." Ryan ordered with a deep voice, stroking the hard black scales on the monster’s neck.

The wyvern got up immediately upon hearing his master’s direct command.

It unfolded its wings, kicking up a dense cloud of dust and loose stone right at the dungeon’s entrance.

And it flew right out through the portal at incredibly high speed, throwing itself entirely into the void in order to catch up to the warrior in her free fall.
