A warm sensation spread through his body as Nyxara wrapped her arms around him. Despite the lingering traces of blood, there was no harsh or metallic smell. Instead, all he could sense was a soft, soothing fragrance that calmed his mind and comforted his heart, as if silently telling him that he was safe.

However, that feeling did not bring any ease to Reigns.

His eyes slowly lifted toward the sky, where the notification still echoed faintly and her name continued to flash in his mind.

He was Level 7.

She was Level 9.

The difference in stats was just 10.

Just 10 points.

It was such a small gap, yet what he had witnessed felt completely different. The difference was overwhelming, as if a single glance from her could decimate everyone around without effort.

So what created such a huge gap?

Was it a change in stats, or the level of her skills? He did not know. But whatever it was, the gap felt massive.

She was a strong woman with a bright future.

Could he really stand beside her?

He had his own talent and cheat, but would it be enough to close that distance? He was not conceited enough to believe he was the only one with reality-defying abilities.

Nyxara’s expression suddenly stiffened when she noticed the distant look in Reigns’ eyes. A flicker of panic crossed her face, and her heart tightened.

"Darling!"

"Are you alright?"

"Were you injured or did something happens!" she asked frantically as she quickly looked him over, her hands moving as if to check for wounds.

Before she could continue, Reigns gently grabbed her wrist.

"Nothing, I was just astonished by your power," he said, forcing a warm smile as he lightly squeezed her hands.

"I am alright. Just a bit dizzy," Reigns spoke, his body swaying slightly.

Nyxara immediately supported him and guided him down to sit on the ground. Her movements were quick but careful. She then took out a potion and held it toward him.

"Here, drink this."

Reigns did not hesitate and drank it at once. As soon as the liquid flowed into his system, a refreshing sensation spread throughout his body, easing his fatigue and clearing his mind.

Nyxara parted her lips as if she wanted to say something more, but before any words came out, a loud scream suddenly broke the moment.

"It’s the Aceeeee!"

Both Reigns and Nyxara turned toward the voice.

It was Kellar. His hand was raised, pointing at them, and his fingers trembled. His eyes were wide with shock as he first stared at Nyxara.

"So you mean you are that infamous guy."

"Holyshit!" He swallowed his saliva as he gasped heavily.

Meanwhile, Ren swayed slightly before speaking, his voice filled with realization. "No wonder I felt that you looked familiar."

Mira, Lira, and Arvin nodded absentmindedly, still trying to process everything that had just happened.

Nyxara tightened her hold on Reigns’ arm and leaned slightly closer to him. Her lips curved into a soft, warm expression as she gently pressed her lips together before speaking.

"So darling, aren’t you going to introduce me to your new friends."

"I am very eager to meet the friends and in the process,see if anyone needs to be removed"

Needs to be removed?

’She won’t really go for the kill right?’Reigns controlled his steady heart and introduced the squad to Nyxara, and she greeted everyone warmly on the surface. Her smile was gentle, and her tone was soft as she shook hands with each of them. However, when her hands met Mira and Lira, a faint coldness slipped into her eyes. It was subtle, but it was there, sharp and clear.

Her gaze locked onto Mira and then shifted to Lira.

The two of them felt a slight shiver run down their spines as they met her eyes. Even without a single word being spoken, they understood the message clearly.

Don’t even try to seduce my darling or I will cut you into a thousand pieces.

Mira let out a small, awkward chuckle and raised her hands slightly as if trying to ease the situation. "Haha! We are just friends."

She truly was not interested in any romantic endeavors, and her expression showed that clearly.

"Isn’t it Lira."

"..."

Mira turned her head toward her, her brows knitting slightly. "Lira," Mira voiced again, this time with a bit more urgency.

"Yes.. Of course.." Lira nodded quickly with a faint and slightly stiff smile.

Seeing the tension building, Arvin cleared his throat and stepped in, trying to shift the focus. "So Reigns what are you going to do?"

Reigns froze for a moment, then slowly turned his head toward Nyxara. Before he could even respond, Nyxara moved closer and wrapped herself around his arm again. She pressed lightly against him, rubbing her cheek against his arm in a soft, clingy manner.

"I will do what darling says." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Reigns looked at her, a little stunned. She looked like a docile cat right now, completely different from her earlier image of a fierce tigress.

He exhaled softly and spoke, trying to gather his thoughts. "Wasn’t there a condition to get out once level 10."

"Ohh that!"

"It wasn’t compulsory.. We can still stay however once the dungeon is cleared, those who take part in dungeon raids and take down boss monsters will be forced out."

"I see. There is such a thing," Reigns said, his eyes narrowing slightly in thought.

"It’s hidden information I got after I refused the offer to get out," Nyxara answered, her tone calm but carrying a hint of pride.

"So whoever clears the dungeon will be forced out. As far as I know about the dungeon, once cleared it will be spawned again after a few days and the process goes on. If this goes like this then how will it assimilate to our world,"

Reigns asked,casting a perplexed look.
