Shen Yuan walked through the library.

Since he didn’t know where Li Zhi might be, he had no choice but to search for her one area at a time.

A young woman was bent over the table, a pearl hairpin tucked into her tied-up hair. Loose strands behind her ear swayed gently with the movement of her writing, dyed a translucent golden-brown in the sunlight.

The memory was not presented from a first-person perspective.

Instead, it was as if Shen Yuan were sitting across from Li Zhi, watching her.

He gazed quietly at the spot where Li Zhi had sat in the memory, a myriad of thoughts running through his mind.

In the end, Shen Yuan decided to sit in the seat that had been his vantage point in the memory fragment, quietly savoring the fading recollection.

Amid the wistful haze where reality and memory intertwined, everything in Shen Yuan’s heart finally melted into a single sigh.

Shen Yuan rose from his seat and left the library.

Although watching that memory had deeply unsettled him, he was already here, so he might as well see it all.

He would see what Li Zhi’s life was like at university.

Scanning a code to unlock a bike, Shen Yuan continued to wander around the Zhejiang University campus.

The second stop he found was the cafeteria.
