A smile played on Shen Yuan’s lips as he slowly pushed the Chinese test Chen Mingyu offered him back across the desk.

His voice was soft and gentle, as if he couldn’t care less about any of it.

Chen Mingyu looked at Shen Yuan, confused. He’d thought Shen Yuan would happily accept the test, since it was what the "homework alliance" had agreed on.
