’So it’s not really an azure slime at all...’ reading the information regarding this first brand new entry to the compendium, Novus thought to himself as he recalls how different the level of lethality is between regular azure slimes and this Toxic Slime, that jet of toxin, something that is a real threat to him even when he is already utilizing Immortal Energy to fight it.

Not dwelling too much on it, as there’s really nothing else for him to see in this tab, he then proceeds to read through the other new entry to the compendium, which becomes an absolute surprise to him, as there’s no recollection in his mind of where he managed to kill a brand-new variant of slime.

After closing all the overwhelming amount of kill notification that appeared in front of him, he then finally moved to the storage space where he saw just how much he acquired due to him continuing to push himself even when he can just accept death within the Evolution Domain, seeing that despite the difficulty, no, brutality of the Beast Wave, it is still a massive opportunity for him to take advantage of.

And this advantage extends not only to the development and progression of his combat techniques, but also to the massive boost in the amount of resources he acquired during a shorter amount of time.

Looking at the Storage Space’s display, he thought to himself as he starts viewing the Beast Wave in a good light more and more, the pain that he suffered during that something that to him, is admittedly way better than the pain of idleness just searching for targets that he can hunt, which takes most of his time in the Evolution Domain during the earlier half of his third entry.

Seeing the number of E-Tier Evolution Crystals that he had acquired from that single entry within the Evolution Domain, he couldn’t help but have his expectations completely subverted, after all, his plan is just to acquire the required amount of E-Tier Evolution Crystal before the exams starts, possibly promote himself to the E-Tier if he’s a bit luckier, but now, his possession scales several tens of times higher than said expectation.

Of course, it is also with the consequence of having his entry to the Evolution Domain restricted for the longest time ever since he acquired it.

’Well, with the amount I have right now, I don’t even think I will lack resource to practice with for the entire week...’ he comforted himself as he was reminded of the heavy punishment once again before swearing to himself that he will use these resources to the utmost so that when another incident like a Slime Beast Wave happens once again, not only will he survive, but he will also triumph over them.

"Not like I really can since there’s no time limit to the aggression effect until I am killed, hahaha" he humored himself as he recalled the description of the Beast Wave, forcing him to press down that desire for revenge, for now, as he shifts his focus to the more important matters.

Clicking on the two new resources harvested from Toxic Slimes and Golden Slimes, he began reading through the last surprises of his harvest, a smile appearing on his face as he nods satisfied, thinking that these two are among the best, if not really the best, among all the things that he acquired from his hunt.

Reading through the description of this brand-new resource, Novus felt all the more excited as he knew full well just how important antidotes are when it comes to travelling, to adventuring outside, as a travelling mage will never be able to know when they will encounter a poison or a toxin that will be a threat to their life.

And a consumable that can cure any poison or toxin so long as they are within a certain rank is truly one of a kind and truly of higher quality compared to other antidotes in the market.

Even then, it is not even the true highlight of the harvest.
