Ivsha’s bewitching voice echoed softly by Su Xuan’s ear, like an enchanting spell. The soft press of her body was tight against his back; even through his clothes, he could feel the overwhelming temptation.

Su Xuan slowly turned around, a smile on his face as he looked at Ivsha.

"Hm~?"

Ivsha took a step back. Her snow-white chest trembled with the movement, creating a picturesque scene.

"How does it feel? A bath in Holy Water from the church?" the Priest asked with a smile.

"It’s fantastic! I’ve never felt anything so incredible!" Mole exclaimed, raising a thick arm. Veins bulged on its surface, as if it were filled with endless Power.

"Bathing in Holy Water allows even an ordinary person to gain Power far beyond the norm," the Priest said with a smile. "This is your tenth time soaking in it. By the end of today, your body will have undergone a complete transformation!"

"Is that so? I’m certainly looking forward to it!"

Mole’s eyes gleamed as he anticipated his body’s transformation.

"As long as you’re willing to fund the church, the Holy Water baths are just the first step. Many more benefits await you in the future!" the Priest continued.

"Then, about that deal concerning the church..." Mole’s eyes narrowed slightly, a look of anticipation in them.

"Rest assured. As long as you follow the church’s arrangements, everything you desire will be yours," the Priest promised.

"Really? That’s wonderful! HAHAHAHA!"

Mole let out a delighted laugh.

"Carry on, then. I’ll take my leave." The Priest offered a friendly smile before leaving the room.

The moment the Priest was gone, however, the delighted look on Mole’s face vanished, replaced by a dark scowl.

He lifted his left arm and saw a Dark Green vein throbbing faintly. The sight was alarming.

’Using me as a guinea pig? And he puts on that benevolent act? Disgusting! Ptooey!’

Mole muttered coldly.

He stood up from the barrel, grabbing some clothes and throwing them on.

He then walked to one of the walls, twisted a candle sconce, and opened the door to a secret room.

’A smart man always has a backup plan! You think you can play Mole for a fool? Not a chance!’

With that, he stepped into the secret room and vanished into the darkness.

In the dim secret room, a Little Demon with deep red skin was chained in a corner.

It looked ferocious and terrifying, but upon seeing Mole enter, its expression immediately turned to one of fear. It was clearly terrified of him.

"After absorbing the life force of so many townspeople, your strength should be almost recovered, right?" Mole said, staring at the Little Demon with a savage grin.

This Little Demon was the culprit behind the recent troubles in Silver Moon Town. Mole had found it and kept it captive in his manor.

Since the Little Demon had not yet recovered its full strength, and he was worried the Law Enforcement Knights would trace it back to him, Mole had restricted its activities. At most, he allowed it to drain the townspeople’s life force, but not to the point of taking their lives.
