"We’re here," Lucia said softly as the golden lotus descended, bringing them to a wasteland ravaged by fire.

Su Xuan stood upon the lotus, his gaze slowly sweeping across the surroundings.

As far as the eye could see, the wasteland was littered with the charred corpses of demons. A hot breeze swept past, carrying the acrid, sickening stench of blood.
