In front of the wooden cabin, a female elf clad entirely in fiery red stepped forward. Like a raging inferno, she blocked the other elves who were trying to take Rella away.

"Hong Lian! Are you defying the ancient laws of the Elf Race?" demanded Elder Ronnie angrily.

Hong Lian turned, the flames in her pupils looking as if they could burn anything to ash. She shot Ronnie a glare and sneered, "Ronnie, since when were you qualified to speak to me?"

Her voice brimmed with the confidence of power, causing Elder Ronnie to show a hint of fear.

Although Ronnie’s status was equal to Hong Lian’s, both being Elf Elders, Ronnie couldn’t help but feel terrified in the face of such absolute strength. Hong Lian’s fury seemed capable of setting the entire world ablaze, making all the other elves too scared to approach.

"Hong Lian, this is the unanimous decision of the Elder Council! You have no right to interfere!" Seeing that she couldn’t suppress Hong Lian, Ronnie invoked the name of the Elder Council.

However, Hong Lian just gave a cold smile, seemingly unfazed by the Elder Council’s decision. She slowly drew the Giant Sword from her back. The moment its tip touched the ground, a fierce flame erupted, as if warning off anyone who dared to draw near.

Su Xuan happened to arrive at the Elf Race’s territory just then. He watched from a distance as Hong Lian stood against thousands of elves, a flash of surprise on his face.

Beiya Fuli and Beira Furo pushed through the crowd to the Female Elf’s side.

The fiery red Female Elf smiled reassuringly at the two sisters. Her smile had a strange, calming power that put people at ease.

"And who are these friends?"

Hong Lian asked, looking quizzically at Su Xuan and his group.

This place was close to the Elf Mother Tree; outsiders couldn’t come here.

"They’re our Guild partners, and this is our Guild President! Aunt Hong Lian, just like you, we joined a Guild too!" Beiya Fuli replied to Hong Lian.

"Oh? Is that so?"

Hearing this, a fervent light flashed in Hong Lian’s eyes. She carefully sized up Su Xuan and his group, then broke into a brilliant smile. "Welcome to the Elf Race. It’s a shame I can’t host you properly right now."

"We’re here to help Fuli and Flora," Su Xuan responded.

"We appreciate your kind intentions, but this isn’t something outsiders can easily get involved in." Hong Lian’s tone grew heavy.

Just then, a Female Elf with short, dark purple hair and wheat-colored skin emerged from the opposing elven faction. In an icy tone, she issued a command to Hong Lian: "Hong Lian, we must abide by the rules the Elf Race has followed for ten thousand years. If you continue to obstruct us, we will have no choice but to strip you of your status as an Elf Elder!"

Hong Lian turned to the dark-haired elf, a smile playing on her lips as she challenged, "Yuluxi, did you orchestrate all this? If you’re trying to frame Princess Leila, I won’t let you get away with it, even if you are one of the three revered princesses of the Elf Race! If you don’t believe me, feel free to try!"

"You!" Yuluxi was taken aback by Hong Lian’s words.

A chill flashed across her cold face. She hadn’t expected that even she, a Princess, couldn’t suppress Hong Lian’s fiery spirit. Her inner rage caused her right eye to flicker with a faint purple light. ’That’s...?’

Su Xuan’s heart skipped a beat. ’Is that the Demon Eye of a Witch?’ He never would have imagined that a Witch could exist among the Elf Race.

Yuluxi snorted coldly and said angrily, "It seems you want to start a civil war within the Elf Race!"

"I’m ready anytime!" Hong Lian pulled her Blazing Fire Greatsword from the ground and shouldered it. Its scorching flames shone as brightly as the sun in the sky.

While the elves were arguing, Su Xuan took a few steps forward and said loudly, "Everyone, please look at me for a moment."

His appearance immediately drew the attention of every elf present.

"Who is he?"

"Why is a human here?"

"This is a forbidden area of the Elf Race. How can a human be allowed in?"

"Could he be Princess Leila’s man?"

"But didn’t Princess Leila say she’s never had contact with a man?"

Seeing Su Xuan, the elves began to murmur among themselves.

"Who are you?" Yuluxi questioned Su Xuan coldly. "Human, this is the territory of the Elf Race. You have no right to speak."

"I am Fuli and Flora’s Guild President," Su Xuan said calmly. "I’m well aware I have no standing in the affairs of your race, but please allow me to say one thing."

"You have no right to speak! Get lost—" Elder Ronnie started to drive Su Xuan away but was stopped by Yuluxi.

"Wait. Let him finish," Yuluxi said.

"Y-Yes, Princess Yuluxi," Elder Ronnie stammered.

"Thank you." Su Xuan gave Yuluxi a faint smile and then said, "I’ve learned from Fuli and the others that according to the laws of the Elf Race, only those who have committed an unforgivable sin are imprisoned in the Dark Prison. So I’d like to ask, what unforgivable sin has Rella committed?"

"As a Princess, she bore two offspring for a Foreign Race! That is an unforgivable sin!" Ronnie immediately shouted in accusation.

Su Xuan, however, calmly retorted, "As far as I know, it has not been determined whether Fuli and Flora were born from the union of two sexes. So how can you claim their mother has committed a monstrous crime?"

Ronnie scoffed, "Are you ignorant? Besides the union of two sexes, is there any other way to create life?"

Faced with this question, Su Xuan chose to remain silent, merely staring intently at Ronnie.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ronnie asked, confused.

"We’re leaving!" Yuluxi suddenly cut off their conversation and turned to leave.

"Princess Yuluxi?" Elder Ronnie was completely bewildered, but Yuluxi didn’t explain. It was clear she had no desire to talk to someone who couldn’t understand.

As she was leaving, Yuluxi turned back to Su Xuan and said sternly, "Even if Rella avoids the Dark Prison for now, she will still have to face judgment when the Queen awakens in three days. The Elf Race will not be defiled by anyone!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Yuluxi departed decisively from the area, taking her faction of elves with her.

After Yuluxi and her group left, Hong Lian also had her supporters leave in an orderly fashion.
