"Fuli..." Beiya Leila was moved by her daughter’s words, tears welling in her eyes.

She gently wiped the tears away with her fingers and forced a smile. Her voice was filled with resolve as she said, "Don’t you worry, my children. I will never leave you."

Su Xuan listened quietly from the side, wondering how he could help them.

’If Leila had truly given birth to Fuli and Flora without cause,’ he thought, ’couldn’t it be ruled that she hadn’t violated the laws of her race? The answer, however, wasn’t certain, as no one could prove whether it was true or false.’

Due to Beiya Leila’s poor health, dinner was prepared by the two sisters, Fuli and Flora.

Elven cuisine was rather simple, consisting mainly of fruits and vegetables, so it wasn’t too difficult to prepare.

After dinner, Beiya Leila sent her daughters, Fuli and Flora, out to gather some fragrant herbs for a bath.

Meanwhile, Ivsha and the others had already left and returned to the Guild.

Leaving Su Xuan alone with Beiya Leila in the small wooden cabin.

"My apologies~ I haven’t been a very good host, since I’m not feeling well~" Beiya Leila said apologetically as she handed him a cup of fragrant green tea.

"Not at all. Your daughters’ cooking was delicious," Su Xuan replied with a faint smile, taking a small sip of his tea.

"About the trial in three days..." Beiya Leila’s beautiful eyes shimmered, seemingly filled with a profound tenderness. "I believe that even if the Elf Queen doesn’t punish me severely, I will likely be confined within the Elf Mother Tree for the good of our race."

"The Elf Mother Tree?" Su Xuan asked, a little confused.

"Yes. The Elf Mother Tree contains a world of its own, and the Elf Queen slumbers there," Beiya Leila explained. "It is a beautiful world, but if I am confined within it, I will hardly ever be able to see Fuli and Flora again..."

Su Xuan could even see a cold glint, tinged with an Aura of Death, flash across the Rune Blade.

Su Xuan took a deep breath, trying to calm her down. "Leila, you need to calm down! A single Legendary Weapon isn’t enough to kill the Elf Queen!"

"Kill the Elf Queen? I never thought of doing that," Beiya Leila said, looking at Su Xuan in confusion. She didn’t understand how he could have misunderstood her so completely.

Su Xuan was momentarily speechless. He realized he might have misunderstood Beiya Leila’s intentions.

Beiya Leila let out a soft chuckle. "You’re so concerned about us, President," she said gently. "Don’t worry, I wouldn’t do something I’m not absolutely sure of. However~"

She paused, her gaze falling back to the Rune Blade.

Her voice turned cold. "As long as the voices of opposition within the Elf Race disappear before the Queen awakens, we can be together forever. I’ve been meticulously planning this for nearly twenty years. All I have to do is make up my mind..."

Su Xuan watched her in silence, somewhat surprised.

’So her plan was to stage a coup within the Elf Race and silence her opponents for good.’

’It was an absolutely insane plan.’

’Although many Elves supported Beiya Leila, including powerful allies like Hong Lian, the Elf Race hadn’t experienced any real internal strife for nearly ten thousand years under the Elf Queen’s guidance—only minor squabbles at most.’

Su Xuan’s first instinct was to back away, as Beiya Leila was still holding the Legendary Weapon. But before he could move, she had already pulled him into a tight embrace, burying his face in the pillowy softness of her milky-scented, snow-white bosom.

"Thank you so much, President~ I can feel your sincerity so clearly~" Beiya Leila said gently, happy tears spilling from her eyes.

’But,’ Su Xuan wanted to scream, ’I can’t breathe!’

After a long moment, she finally loosened her embrace, giving Su Xuan a chance to gasp for air.

He took a deep breath, feeling like he’d been brought back from the dead.

Su Xuan felt his nostrils were filled with the rich, milky scent, and he could even feel a hint of moisture on his face.

Just then, Beiya Leila reached out with her slender fingertips and gently cupped his cheeks.
