Cole Yeats’s gaze shifted to face them.

When he saw Paige Summers at the front, his eyes blinked twice. A moment later, a sly smile spread across his face.

"Hey, what’s your name?"

The fat man was immediately displeased. The woman had hit him, yet Cole Yeats didn’t immediately help him retaliate. Instead, he had the nerve to try and flirt? This was a complete lack of respect for him, his supposed big brother! ’Could it be he’s taken a fancy to that chick?’ His shifty eyes darted over, and only then did he realize she was indeed quite attractive! ’If I could get my hands on both these little bunnies...’

His already small brain subconsciously began to fantasize about all sorts of scenes, and he immediately felt a stirring in his lower body.

"That’s right! Tell us your names! You dared to hit me, so neither of you is getting away! Come with me and apologize properly. If I’m happy, maybe I’ll let it go. Otherwise... Hmph hmph..."

Paige Summers gave him an incredulous look. She used to think people like Evan Pierce were as weird as they came, but now she realized that even in the apocalypse, there was never a shortage of idiots!

As the voice spoke, three more people emerged from the entrance to the hall.

Paige Summers looked over in confusion, and her gaze immediately locked on.

The man at the front was very tall, his body a perfect inverted triangle without seeming overly muscular. A crisp combat uniform accentuated his lean and slender frame. His skin was a healthy, tanned wheat color, which further highlighted his sharp, sword-like brows, star-bright eyes, straight nose, and well-defined lips.

His looks were different from Claire Chapman’s delicate handsomeness and Marcus Monroe’s mature appeal; his was a very heroic and dashing type of charm. His aura was somewhat forceful, with a hint of arrogance, yet it felt so natural to him that it wasn’t the least bit out of place.

Paige Summers didn’t consider herself one to be swayed by a man’s looks, but seeing this person, she couldn’t help but be momentarily dazed.

Without a doubt, this was a rare and extremely outstanding man.

But she also sensed something else from him.

For instance, his gait—his steps were of almost perfectly equal length—and the murderous aura coming from the two men behind him all proved that this man was from the military, and his rank was not low.
