According to the system, I don’t need to do a full marriage. I just need a ring and someone to say yes. In the candidates list, Viora is added, but the other two are empty.

So that means as I meet any disabled woman, she will automatically be added into the system as a candidate?

Looking at it, I noticed that morning had long come. Yet, I was still sleeping. The reason for it must be because I slept late at night.

I was laying on my side, and it had begun to hurt, so I moved into a more comfortable position. Doing so, my eyes fell on the bed beside me.

On it, I saw Viora taking deep and heavy breaths. Her body was convulsing, and her arms were bending in an awkward way. She seemed to be having trouble breathing.

My eyes widened, and as fast as I could, I tried to stand up, but before my feet could touch the ground, the nurse came and began to check on her.

"It is happening again?!" the nurse exclaimed and used the machine placed beside Viora on her.

"This is worse than before."

She seemed to be doing her best to help Viora, but her expression and words were making me feel scared.

I wanted to stand up and help the nurse stabilize Viora’s condition, but in what way could I even do that? I don’t know what kind of tech she was using on her, and I don’t even have a bit of medical knowledge.

Viora was struggling too much. Her back kept arching up and down on the bed, and her hands closed tightly into fists before opening again.

The same cycle kept repeating itself. But soon, the nurse was able to succeed, and Viora once again went back to normal.

She was now laying comfortably, and her breathing was more even. But she seemed to have gone back to sleep since her eyes were closed and she wasn’t moving.

My body, which was stiff because of the tension, slowly relaxed, and sweat had formed all over my face.

"Okay, I saved her again." The nurse gave her a little glare before checking every monitor.

Though her personality was terrible, at least she wasn’t careless about serious matters.

And when I heard her say that she saved Viora, I felt more at ease than I had ever felt in my life. Viora was alright now. There is nothing to worry about.

I began to tell myself the same thing over and over again because while my brain believed the nurse, my heart wasn’t trusting it.

"Everything seems good."

The nurse looked at me and smiled. "Sorry, Mr. Woo Jin, you had to see something bad first thing in the morning."

She then glanced at Viora and spoke again. "Please understand, this is a usual occurrence. It happens to her from time to time."

"From time to time?" I felt a sudden ache in my heart.

"Yeah, it is a psychological problem. But she has no guardian who could help her, so she is stuck here."

The nurse turned around and walked out, leaving me with even more questions than answers.
