"...Out of this room right now."

Viora finished and Woo Jin was stunned.

’She really wants me to go?’

Woo Jin thought, meanwhile Viora’s mind was thinking the exact opposite of his.

’W-why did I tell him to leave?!’ she said to herself in her mind.

For a while there was no reaction from either of them. Both were waiting for the other to say something.

Viora wanted Woo Jin to say that he didn’t want to leave, and he wanted her to say she was kidding. However, since Viora didn’t speak up, Woo Jin just thought about leaving her alone for a bit.

"Fine,"

He added a bit of mockery in his tone. He was trying to act somewhat offended.

"I will leave Your Majesty alone."

Saying that, he turned around and walked toward the door. Before opening the door, he glanced back at Viora one last time, hoping that she would say something that would give him an excuse not to leave.

But she was just sitting on the bed while her head was lowered and her eyes were wide open.

’Why... Why is he actually leaving?’

That was something she only thought but didn’t say out loud, so after not hearing what he wanted, Woo Jin just opened the door and stepped out.

As soon as the door was closed, Viora covered her face and began to tap her foot on the floor.

"Idiot."

"Fool."

"Silly."

"Stupid."

She was saying things even she didn’t know were coming out of her mouth. It was just a subconscious act.

"Why are you all of this, Viora?"

With that, she let herself fall back onto the mattress and lay on her side. Then she started tapping the bedsheet with her finger.

"Couldn’t he just say that he didn’t want to leave? Why did he just do what I told him to?"

Again, she moved and turned onto her back as her hands moved to her belly and stayed there.

"I am a fool, but he is even dumber than I am."

She closed her eyes and focused all her attention on the sounds she was hearing.

First there was the tick tock of the clock, then the swoosh of wind. After that, there was no other sound.

No giggles. No pained shouts. And most importantly, no Woo Jin talking.

This room was just new to her. Unlike the hospital, where there were at least sounds of someone crying or someone getting frustrated, this room was oddly quiet now that she was alone.

’It is making me uncomfortable.’

She ran her hand across the bed and grabbed the photo of her parents and the scarf which were on the bed and hugged them again.

"What should I do, Mom?"

Suddenly, an idea popped up in her head and she sat up abruptly.

"Hehehe... This will do."

With those words, she stood up and began to find the door. After coming in contact with a wall, she paced alongside it while her one hand stayed on the wall.

Soon, she was able to reach the door, but she didn’t open it right away. She hesitated for a long time.

First she leaned her head on the wooden door, and then she turned, and that left her back against it, trying to make a decision.

’Should I... or should I not...?’

"Whatever!" Making up her mind, she clasped the knob and opened the door.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, when Woo Jin left her room and went back to his room, he immediately ran toward the wall which connected his and Viora’s room.

’Just don’t bump into a wall or fall off the bed.’

He placed his ear on the wall and started listening to everything happening on the other side.

’Why is it so quiet?’

Even after a few seconds, all he heard was silence, and then suddenly he heard Viora’s muffled voice.

"Whatever."

’Whatever. What whatever?’

After her word, he heard the sound of her room’s door opening.

Without wasting time on listening any further, he dashed toward the door and with slight, really small movement, he opened the door without making any sound.

He didn’t just push it all the way open. Only enough to peek outside and see what Viora was doing.

’Viora?’

With his one eye, he was able to see Viora closing her door and slowly walking away while her hand was on the wall.

’Where is she going?’

He watched until Viora reached the next door and tapped on it two times.

"Woo Jin," she called out.

’What? Don’t tell me she thinks I am in that room?’

He had told her that his room was just next to the one she was in when they came to the villa.

’Are you serious? There are more than five rooms upstairs.’

"Woo Jin, I am thirsty. Can you help me get some water?"

She called him again, but Woo Jin just kept watching her carefully from his room. He was wondering if he should say something or just watch a bit longer.

"Woo Jin, are you there?"

As Viora called his name again, the door in front of her opened and she immediately stepped forward.

"Woo Jin,"

She wanted to grab Woo Jin’s hand, but before she could, someone stopped her by placing their hand on her forehead, just a bit lower than where her horns were.

"What?!" she instinctively let out.

"Wrong room." Elena’s voice rang through her ears. "Woo Jin’s room is on the other side."

When Elena said that, there was an awkward silence between them while Woo Jin was witnessing this scene happening in front of him.

"Ah..."

That was all Viora managed to say.

She slowly lowered her head and her fingers tightened around the edge of her sleeve again.

"...Sorry."

"Go back."

"...Okay."

Viora slowly turned around and began walking back the way she came, her hand trailing along the wall again.

Elena watched her for a few seconds, then exhaled softly.

"...Strange girl."
