I let out a pained groan as my butt hit the ground and my head bumped against the bed.

For a moment, I stayed there like that. I was just trying to help a girl eat and drink, but it seems my body doesn’t want me to do that.

I opened the bottle cap and leaned in closer. "Here, open your mouth."

I placed my hand under her head to lift it from the pillow, but she simply rolled her head to the side until it slipped from my hand.
