Marmalade ran into an acquaintance at the entrance to the housing complex.

"Jolie, are you back to move some things?"

Marmalade looked at him, confused. "Uncle Shepherd, move what things?"

Uncle Shepherd was an old neighbor. He had opened a real estate agency at the entrance to the complex back when she was still in elementary school.

"You don’t know?" Uncle Shepherd asked, surprised. "Your dad put the house up for sale. I just assumed you were here to move things out..."

"That’s ridiculous!" A deep anger surfaced on Marmalade’s face. "He’s spinning lies again. I never thought Bruno Lawson could become such a monster!"
