The Rise of Dragon Son-in-Law

Long Chen, along with Yang Su, returned to the Yang Family. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

At the Yang Family residence, Yang Shenhuai and Yang Ji, were taken aback when they saw Long Chen returning with Yang Su.

"Grandpa, Dad, Long Chen has come back."

Yang Su said with a smile.

"Ah, Long Chen, come in, come in quickly."

Yang Shenhuai was the first to react, excitedly pulling Long Chen into the house.

Yang Ji was also overwhelmed with emotion, warmly pulling Long Chen along with Yang Shenhuai.

Yang Su, seeing his father and grandfather behaving the same, or even more affectionately towards Long Chen than before, felt an inexplicable urge to cry.

"Your strength, it really hasn’t been affected?" inquired Yang Su’s mother.

"Not at all, you can relax," Long Chen assured with a smile.

"Long Chen, we are all very happy your abilities are intact, but those scoundrels are backed by Transcendents, and the battle prowess of those Transcendents is terrifying. Long Chen, my advice is not to take any risks," Yang Shenhuai said gravely.

"Grandpa, you can rest easy. I wouldn’t have come if I weren’t absolutely confident I won’t let anything go wrong," Long Chen said, "These so-called Transcendents are merely ants in my eyes, I will protect you all."

Yang Shenhuai and others, moved by Long Chen’s determined gaze, were touched.

Yet, as touched as they were, they still couldn’t quite believe that Long Chen could stand against Transcendents.

"Little Chen, your aunt understands your determination, and I am deeply moved, but we can’t let you take this risk. As long as you and Susu are alive and well, nothing else matters. Please, take Susu and leave," Yang Su’s mother said softly.

In her eyes, there was an endless despair.

This despair, Long Chen felt very clearly.

A young man dressed in a black trench coat, followed by about a dozen people, barged in.

The young man stared at Yang Shenhuai, puffing smoke.

Long Chen took a step forward and instantly appeared in front of Wei Tong, staring at him coldly.

After regaining his composure, Wei Tong asked, "Who are you?"

"I am Yang Su’s man. Remember my name; my name is Long Chen. If you go to Yama Palace, remember to mention my name."

Long Chen said coldly.

"Long Chen? Haha, never heard of you. I thought you were some big shot. Turns out you’re just a nobody, that’s hilarious. From the way you talk, you even think about killing me?"

Wei Tong burst into laughter.

The dozen or so people he brought also laughed uproariously.
