The Rise of Dragon Son-in-Law

Long Chen put away his phone, oblivious to the fact that Wu Nuan’s friend was none other than Cheng Cheng, whom he had just upset earlier.

If he had known, Long Chen would definitely not have agreed to meet, just to avoid the embarrassment.

Long Chen, instinctively, turned his head. Seeing Cheng Cheng unexpectedly, his expression froze.

Cheng Cheng, on seeing Long Chen, also froze in place.

"Cheng Cheng, this is Long Chen, the one I told you about who will help me get a job at Dragon Doctor.

Long Chen, this is my best friend; she is Cheng Cheng, a hero who has helped in disaster areas, very brave."

Wu Nuan introduced them.

The music started, and Long Chen stood up and slowly began to sing:

He had only sung two lines when Long Chen realized the implication behind Cheng Cheng’s choice of song.

But Long Chen didn’t care and continued to perform.

His voice was magnetic, handling the melodies and emotions with ease, as steady as Mount Tai.

The level of his performance stunned both women, disbelieving.

As he sang to the climax of the song, Cheng Cheng’s tears, unable to be held back any longer, began to overflow.

"Stop... don’t sing anymore, you mustn’t sing,"

Cheng Cheng stood up.

"Cheng Cheng, what are you doing?"

Wu Nuan was puzzled.

She felt Cheng Cheng behaved oddly ever since she met Long Chen.
