"What are you thinking?"

Seeing his brother staring blankly, He Liuzhang knew the kid had gotten the wrong idea.

He held out the baby for his brother to see.

"This is Yihan’s child, you little brat. How old do you think your sister-in-law and I are? Do you think we can still have more kids?" He Liuzhang grumbled, giving his brother a light kick.

Just then, Xie Changning and Yue Yihan got out of the car.

"Yihan, Changning, this is your Uncle He."

"Uncle He," the two said in unison.

Yue Yihan knew Uncle He. He used to come over often as a child. Back then, most of the He Family members didn’t like him. They thought he was a burden, an orphan who was already old enough to remember things when he was taken in, so he would never be truly close to the family.

They had all disagreed with He Liuzhang and his wife adopting him.

But He Liuzhang insisted, and he had stuck to his decision to this day.

Uncle He stared blankly at Yue Yihan, thinking that the boy had really grown up to be impressive. They never expected to have misjudged him so badly back then.

The boy was so righteous and loyal, and in all these years, his devotion to He Liuzhang had never wavered.

After this thought, Uncle He turned his head to look at Xie Changning.

The old woman didn’t even lift her eyelids, acting as if she hadn’t heard a thing, even though Yue Yihan was carrying gifts.

The old man was better. He chuckled and gestured for them to come over and sit down.

"Your grandmother, well, she’s just too embarrassed. She used to scold Yihan with a stern face all the time when he was little, so she feels awkward now."
