In other words, the eye that had grown back was, for the original form, essentially equivalent to the infant eyes present at birth. It would take time for it to fully develop into a functional Sharingan. How much time exactly, he did not yet know. It was like creating a new account in a game. The fundamental conditions for becoming a Sharingan remained the same. There was simply no way to instantly produce a dual-tomoe state.

"Alright. Move aside."

He waved his hand at the stiff-faced Uchiha. The latter, like a machine responding to input, took several steps away and stood completely motionless.

This Uchiha had undergone specific removals of certain brain tissue. To put it simply, this person had now become purely a tool that accepted only his commands. The clear sense of individual consciousness no longer existed. Only the basic thinking capacity remained intact, along with the ability to execute actions without interference.

Every profession had its specialization. Sasori’s Puppet Technique allowed a ninja, after death, to become a work of art, and by utilizing the puppet core the deceased could still deploy some of their previous jutsu abilities.

A doctor could achieve something analogous through entirely different means. Compared to Sasori’s art, this approach was even more complex and in certain respects more complete. This was true life medicine in the deepest sense, physical intervention directly upon the human brain, causing the subject to become an obedient vessel by erasing consciousness in the physical sense of the word.

If it were not for the relatively limited level of scientific technology currently available in this world, the results he could achieve would be considerably more precise and considerably more terrifying.
