Maybe I really am a Villian

As soon as Asher finished his sentence, Noah’s expression shifted from calm to horror. He slowly turned his head behind him and quickly said in a voice full of dread,

"Sorry, I didn’t mean anything bad—"

But Noah stopped mid-sentence when he found that there was no one behind him. He looked around, but there was no sign of anyone else in the surroundings other than Asher.

Then he suddenly heard someone laughing out loud. He turned toward the source of the laughter, only to find that it was none other than Asher, who was laughing as if he were at a comedy show.

Noah’s expression shifted to anger, and he said in an angry tone,

"You bastard, don’t joke like this again. I almost peed my pants because of your joke!"

Asher stopped laughing, and his expression turned calm. Then he started laughing again and said,

"You should have seen your face. It was really funny."

Noah glared at Asher for a few moments before letting out a frustrated sigh.

"Oh, come on," Asher said between laughs. "You looked like you had just seen a ghost."

After some time, Asher finally stopped laughing and said,

"Whatever. I have to say, you really are very lucky. Sometimes I wonder if you’re actually a protagonist from one of those cultivation novels."

Noah looked at Asher for a moment and then said in a disappointed tone,

"I wish I was, but I’m not. If I were, then where are my jade beauties and the ancient legacy of some immortal?"

Asher looked at Noah and replied in a flat voice,

"You sound more disappointed by the absence of jade beauties than the absence of an immortal’s legacy."

Noah coughed and then said,

"It is just your imagination, nothing more."

Then suddenly, Asher’s expression turned serious. He looked over Noah’s shoulder and said,

"Noah, this time someone really is standing behind you, and he’s quite big, just like you described."

Noah looked at Asher and said,

"I’m not falling for that again, so stop lying now."

Asher looked at Noah and said again in a serious tone,

"Noah, there really is someone behind you this time. He’s really tall, about two hundred centimetres, has long black hair that reaches his neck, and he’s also a werewolf—"

Noah looked at Asher and said with a smug expression on his face,

"Oh, your description of that musclehead is correct. Did you also encounter him during the test?"

Asher looked at Noah, sighed, and said,

"I did not, but after you get eliminated, don’t blame me for what is about to happen to you. It was your fault for calling him a musclehead."

Noah looked at Asher and said,

"Oh, you’re really trying hard to fool me this time."

As soon as Noah said that, a heavy voice came from behind him.

"Oh, so you think that I’m a musclehead? But I really hate that nickname, you know."

As soon as Noah heard the voice, his face turned pale.

Then he slowly turned his head and looked behind him, only to find the muscle head he had been talking about standing right behind him with a smile on his face. That smile looked truly terrifying.

Then Noah said in a weak and nervous voice, "I am going to die now, right?"

The tall werewolf looked at Noah and said, "Yeah, you are."

Then he punched Noah in the face. His arms were massive, packed with dense muscles that seemed capable of crushing stone.

As soon as the punch connected with Noah’s face, Noah went flying and collided with a tree before fainting on the spot.

After fainting, he was teleported outside the forest and eliminated from the test.

Asher looked at the spot where Noah had collided with the tree, then looked at the one who had sent him flying and said, "That was quite a good punch."

The werewolf looked at Asher with a confused expression and said, "Wasn’t he a friend of yours? Aren’t you angry that I just eliminated your friend?"

Asher looked at the werewolf and replied with a confused expression, "He is my teammate, but why would I get angry if he got eliminated because of his own stupidity and weakness? It’s his fault for calling a muscle head a muscle head and then getting eliminated because he was too weak to be defeated by a muscle head."

The werewolf looked at Asher and then said, "So, you think I am a muscle head, and you also believe that you can defeat me?"

Asher looked at him and replied calmly, "If you attack everyone who calls you some stupid nickname and get angry over that, then you really are a muscle head. As for defeating you, I can defeat you, but I don’t really like fighting, you know."

The werewolf looked at Asher and then said, "Too bad, because I really like fighting, you know. And I am really curious about how strong the guy that stupid princess was talking about is. I was looking for you, but you spawned in the opposite direction from me, so I couldn’t reach you sooner."

Asher looked at the werewolf and then said, "So, you are with that stalker?"

The werewolf looked at Asher, shook his head, and said, "I don’t like that girl. She is weird. She asked me to team up with her, but I refused because I wanted to fight you alone."

Asher looked at him and then nodded before saying, "But you know, if you fight me, you might lose your limbs when you lose, and that hurts really badly. So, do you still want to fight me?"

The werewolf looked at Asher and said, "It doesn’t matter. If you are fighting someone, you should always be prepared for injury. And my name is Oscar, not Muscle Head."

Asher looked at Oscar and then said, "Yeah, you are right. If you are killing someone or doing anything to another person—whether it is betrayal, killing their family, or hurting their loved ones—you should be prepared for the same thing to happen to you."
