Asher looked at them and replied in a calm tone, "This test really seemed like a battle royale online game, so I thought there would also be loot present."

Then he paused for a moment and said in a slightly disappointed tone, "But I guess the Academy does not know how to organize a proper battle royale game."

Adam looked at him and said, "It’s a test, not a game. It will affect our results. Not everyone is like you, okay?"

Asher just looked at him, then took out an apple juice and said, "Okay, noob."

After hearing this, a vein popped on Adam’s forehead in anger, but he calmed himself down and then said, "I am not a noob. I am just a newbie."

Asher looked at him for a moment, then turned towards Aria and asked, "How will the rankings and score work in the test?" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Aria replied in a calm tone, "There are two ways to earn points that will affect your rankings. First, the rank at which you are eliminated from the test. The second way is by eliminating other students. You will earn 100 points for eliminating a student, and if you defeat a Class S student who is in the top 10 rankings, you will get 2,000 points. The location of these students will be shown every 2 hours."

Asher frowned at this and said, "That is going to be a problem then. Other students of lower rank will probably try to eliminate us first so they can get a higher rank, and the location reveal will make it easy for them to locate and ambush us."

Aria looked at him for a moment and then said, "Don’t worry. If anyone defeats you, they will not get 2,000 points, and your location will not be revealed every 2 hours."

Adam and Noah became confused after hearing this and were just about to ask the reason, but before they could, Asher asked Aria, "That somehow does not sound like a good thing. What do you mean by that?"

Aria looked at him and replied in a calm tone, "You are being treated as a boss monster in this exam. Anyone who defeats you will get 10,000 points, and your location will be revealed every 30 minutes."

Asher looked at Aria and asked, "You are joking, right?

Aria replied calmly, "I am not."

Adam looked at Asher and said, "Good luck fighting all 200 students, Mrs. Final Boss of the game, if I say it in your language."

Asher just looked at Adam and then ignored him, not giving a single reaction.

After getting ignored again, Adam muttered, "I hope you really get beaten up like a dog in this test."

Noah looked at Asher and said, "This sounds way too unfair. You should complain about it."

Asher replied in a calm tone, "I am going to."

Aria then interrupted and said, "Of course, since you are at a disadvantage in this test, you have also been given some perks."

As soon as Aria said "perks," Asher looked at her and asked, "What type of perks are you talking about?"

Aria looked at him and then showed him the notification that the Academy had sent with information about the test.

Asher looked at the notification for a moment, read it, then nodded and said, "If it is like this, then there is no need to complain."

Adam looked at Asher with curiosity and asked, "What is this perk that even made you interested?"

Asher looked at Adam and said, "I am allowed to use anything from my subspace as long as it is not for attacking or defending."

After hearing this, both Noah and Adam had a look of realization and understood why this stubborn guy had so easily accepted this unfair treatment in the test given by the Academy.

Noah then looked at Aria and asked, "Will there be beasts in the test, or just students only? And what about food? How will we get food if we can’t use the food stored in our subspace?"

Aria replied in a calm tone, "Every time you eliminate a player, you will get food, or you can find some in the forest if you are lucky."

Then she paused for a moment and continued, "There will be no beast present in this test; only other students will be your opponents."

Adam leaned back in his chair and then sighed. "So even if you want to just stay hidden to get good placement points, you can’t because you won’t have any food. So you will eventually have to fight other students for food. As expected of the Academy, there is no way they will let any student get a good ranking unless the student fights."

While Asher and his teammates were discussing this, another discussion was happening in the faculty office.

Aelar was standing in front of Elisa’s desk.

"What is this with the exam rules? Why are they specifically targeting Asher?" Aelar asked Elisa in a serious tone.

Elisa looked at him and said, "They are already approved by the Headmaster, and the reason for targeting Asher is simple. It is to teach him that there is a limit to an individual’s strength, and this was also requested by General Walter Astrean, so there is nothing you can do about it."

Aelar had a surprised look on his face when he heard that these rules were approved by the Headmaster, but as soon as he heard that it was Walter’s request, he understood the reason why the Headmaster approved them.

He then looked at Elisa and asked, "But isn’t it still too much? With these conditions, he won’t survive in the test for much time."
