Asher and Aria kept following the trail of the Three-Tail Monkey and soon reached a tree bearing fruits.

The tree was tall and thick, with blood-red leaves, while the fruits were the size of coconuts, had a soft texture, and were also red in color.

Aria said, "Crimson Tears. They are eaten for fast recovery after losing a large amount of blood."

"But they don’t taste like blood. They are sweet like mangoes," Asher replied while climbing the tree to pluck the fruits.

"When did you drink blood to know the difference between them?" Aria asked while raising an eyebrow.

Asher casually replied without looking at her, "When I was bleeding, I thought, ’Why waste it? Let’s just drink it.’"

Aria stared at him in silence for a few seconds before saying, "That is not something a normal person would think of."

Asher looked surprised by her response and said, "I thought it was normal."

Asher then jumped down from the tree while carrying several Crimson Tears in his arms.

Then he stored them in his subspace, leaving only two outside.

He took a bite from one and handed the other to Aria.

Aria accepted the fruit and quietly looked at Asher for a moment before taking a bite.

The sweet taste spread through her mouth, and a faint look of surprise appeared on her face.

"It really is good," she admitted.

Asher nodded while casually eating his own fruit.

"I told you."

Then they started wandering around, searching for beasts to kill.

Most of the beasts were Silver Rank, while some were Gold Rank.

Asher and Aria easily killed them without getting injured. Aria always provided support from behind while Asher fought on the front lines, and whenever he seemed about to get hit, he would simply teleport away.

As a result, they never sustained any injuries throughout the battles, but their mana reserves were getting low, so they decided to stop for the day since they were not allowed to use mana recovery potions during the test.

Asher was collecting the corpses of the beasts they had just killed when Aria suddenly asked, "Why are you collecting their corpses? We already have enough food, and you are rich enough that you don’t need to sell them."

Asher calmly replied, "So that we don’t have to fight them again. Did you forget that Kevin uses necromancy? I’m just making sure he doesn’t get more corpses to control."

Understanding his reason, Aria simply nodded.

But that was not the real reason. The real reason was to gather more vessels for himself. It was why he always killed the beasts with minimal injuries and avoided destroying their cores.

While thinking about this, another thought crossed Asher’s mind.

’I wonder how many branches of the Reaper Guild are left to take over.’

But he quickly dismissed the thought, deciding it was not his job. Other stronger vessels would take care of it.

Asher and Aria then rested for an hour, and soon it was 4 p.m.

Then Asher stood up and said, "Let’s go. It seems they found a shelter. They are about 12,500 meters away from us."

Aria also stood up and asked, "Can you still sense them from that far away?"

Asher nodded.

"The marks I placed on them contain traces of my mana. As long as they remain within a certain range, I can track their location."

"Convenient ability," Aria commented.

"It is useful," Asher replied calmly before starting to walk through the forest.

The evening sun cast a crimson glow across the island as the two moved between the trees at high speed.

Along the way, several beasts noticed their presence, but none of them attacked, and Asher and Aria also ignored them.

While traveling, Asher noticed a chasm and stopped.

"What happened?" Aria asked as she stopped and came up to him.

Asher picked up a nearby stone and tossed it into the chasm.

The stone fell, and after 20 seconds, they heard the sound of it hitting the ground.

Aria had a confused expression, not understanding what he was trying to achieve.

Asher then said, "It’s quite deep—almost 1,960 meters if we ignore air resistance."

"So what about it?" Aria said, still not understanding what he meant.

Asher just smiled, extended his hand toward her, and said, "Want to fall in with me?"

Aria stared at his hand for a moment, then looked up at him with a blank expression.

"Are you serious?" she asked.

Asher’s smile didn’t fade. "Completely."

"Nah, I am good here"

Asher just looked at her and then jumped into the chasm.

After 15 seconds, he reappeared at his initial position with an expression full of joy.

Aria looked at him with mild surprise and asked, "So how was it?"

"It was fun. It felt like I was flying for a moment," Asher answered, his voice full of happiness.

Aria just looked at him and said, "You are beyond crazy," while continuing to walk toward their destination.

At some distance away from them, in the trees, a Platinum Rank supervisor was also surprised by his actions. He thought of stopping him, but remembering his teleportation ability, he decided there was no need to intervene, as he would not seriously hurt himself.

The professors in the observation room were also surprised by his actions, but knowing his past, it was not unusual. They did not think much of it and thought, "He really is a teenager in the end, just a more weird one."

They were thinking exactly what Asher wanted them to think.

But in reality, the reason Asher jumped into the chasm was to leave a mark without arousing any suspicion from the others, and it was a success.

Asher and Aria were now just 4 km away from their destination, and they reached it after traveling for 10 minutes.

When they arrived, they found a cave that had most likely been used by some beast.

They entered the cave and were welcomed by Noah and Adam, who looked as if they had just fought a war for their lives.
