"What are they doing?" Draxus wondered aloud, his face filled with confusion.
The classroom was located on the third floor of the school’s building therefore he could get an accurate view of the school’s infrastructures, especially the school field which was extremely wide, the field alone was over 120 meters long but currently it was filled with humans, densely packed and staring blankly at the sky with all life lost from their eyes.
They all stood upright, eyes fully open and breathing but somehow they also felt... Dead. And it wasn’t just there but all across the school, the buildings and the lawns, people of both gender stood staring upwards at the sun with empty and blank looks like they are entranced.
"What’s wrong with them?"
{I have no idea also}
"How do you have no idea?"
{The system and the simulations are generated by the lords of the Kastiya race, aside from the basic informations and tasks I have little informations about the upgrade challenges and talent upgrades}
"I should’ve known it, what was I even expecting?" He muttered in partial frustration then walked back from the window, slowly making his way for the door of the classroom.
’Should I go out? Or just stay here, things like this never end well especially when I have no idea about what exactly is going on.’ he thought then made up his mind and reached out for the door handle, pulling it open then slowly stepped out into the silent hallway, his heart thumping rapidly in fear.
"You have absolutely no idea about what is going on? There should be hints at least right?" Draxus said, his question directed at the system.
{The simulations created to unlock the host’s talents are based on real life events that once happened at a certain time in history, the lords of the Kastiya race existed for millions of hears, their knowledge and experiences are endless therefore they are able to create a simulation based on one, I cannot. Whatever this planet is, wherever we are and whatever is happening right now once happened and all you have to do is fulfill the task given to you, if you fail we will have to go over the simulation one more time}
"So I have to figure everything out myself and fulfill the task?"
{Yes}
"Just survive?"
{Exactly, just survive}
’How hard could it be? I just have to survive for five days or so mhmm.’ he thought then walked towards the stairs at the end of the hallway, descending slowly while glancing around for signs of danger.
After a few minutes he finally reached the school’s entrance where he could get a clearer view of the humans standing around with blank looks, staring at the sun shining in the sky.
’There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong but that’s why it’s even weirder, why do they all seem so absent-minded.’ he thought then walked towards a girl in her teens standing nearby.
{I would advice you to restrain from physical touch, we have no idea what we are dealing with as of now--}
Before Draxus could react to the warning and withdraw his arm his arm was already touching the girl, "feeling" if she was actually alright.
"Mhmm, it does look nice but I don’t think they are alright." Draxus said with a glint in his eyes when the girl suddenly regained consciousness and lowered her head to stare at him.
"Who are y-- AAhhhhhhhhh, percent!!" She screamed out and swatted Draxus’s hands away from her boobs, her face filled with anger.
’Okay time to leave.’ he thought, about to leap back to his feet and run away when a sudden feeling of nausea and dizziness hit him, his eyes became blurry and his feets unsteady.
"What is going on with me?" That was the last thing he said before falling unconscious.

"Attention all students! It’s recess time!!!" The constant ring of the bell and countless voices woke him up from his deep stupor. He glanced round the classroom, the same class he had woken up in earlier but this time it was filled with students clamoring around, rushing out of the door, some packing up their food caskets for lunch while others picked up their books.
’System, mind explaining what just happened?’
{You fell unconscious}
’I know that, I mean what happened after that!’
{You stayed out there for like half an hour, staring at the sun with blank eyes like some sort of moron.... I take that back, you are a moron anyways} the system said in it’s systematic ambiguous voice making Draxus’s lips twitch in frustration.
’Get to the point.’
{Well, after that you all suddenly woke up and returned to the school building, scattered into different places then it all continued like someone placed y’all on pause earlier then suddenly switched it to play}
’Now something’s terribly wrong.’ he thought then stood up from his chair, walking towards the window while others jeered at him lightly, he could feel the gazes but ignored them I stead and stared out of the window with a thoughtful look on his face.
’What could’ve possibly just happened? And according to the quest hint it said I need to survive meaning this isn’t something so casual, I need to get out of this school or wherever this is, if something is controlling them or manipulating them all I can’t survive that.’ he thought, slightly wishing he could return to the body of the Rivinea he used in the first Simulation, that feeling of power and control was something he yearned for so much he couldn’t have enough of it.
’With time, with time.’ he thought then moved away from the window and walked out into the hallway only to be met by something he never expected.
