"Target locked, proceeding with defensive measures. Ground troops attack from the flanks, prevent the intruder from advancing any further than his current position, aerial troops stay on standby and scout the area for any other signs of the corrupted!"
The bunker had fully transformed from a seemingly harmless shed into a military stronghold within just a short few seconds.
Boom!!
Booomm!!
The rows of cannons on the outer cover of the bunker fired at Draxus like the muzzles of a rattling gun.
{Beep! Host is taking damage, please proceed cautiously}
{HP -18}
{HP -23}
{HP -17}
{Ding! Host is critically wounded! Advising immediate withdrawal!}
"This isn’t going according to the script, why would they open fire the very moment they see an human, unless they aren’t humans?" Draxus grumbled underneath his voice but still scurried away from sight, ducking behind the vehicles parked behind the streets.
It took just a split second before the truck he hid behind was blasted apart followed by even more shots from the cannons.
"Withdraw the SSR-cannons, deploy the XXS-cannon from the central field and focus fire. He has only two choices, either he withdraws or he dies!"
A row of cannons from the bunker’s edge dissolved back into the walls, followed by an even larger cannon over five times larger than the previous one with crackles of lightning round the edges.
{Warning! Highly concentrated energy detected nearby}
{Warning! Highly concentrated energy detected nearby}
"What on Earth could I have ever done to deserve this maltreatment?" Draxus nearly screamed out in agony but still ducked one more time, avoiding the beam of energy trailing after him but that did nothing to change the large cannon who’s focus was placed solely on him.
To make things even worse rows of humanoid robots marched out of a gate opened out from the bunker wielding guns of different shapes and sizes, they spread out in a formation and sealed off all possible escape routes he had.
Their efficiency was terrifying and their coordinative force was even scarier.
"I’m in deep shit." He said amidst rasped breaths, his vision was filled with the huge cannon placed right at the center of the bunker, now fully charged with lightning arcs creating a mixed cacophony of disaster and a strange beauty.
{Looks like this is the end after all, time to restart. Next time there’s no need to trust anyone blindly based on your previous judges of the situation or mete assumptions}
"Nahh, you’re wrong. If the simulation restarts now will I still retain my current abilities?"
{Of course not, how do you expect to claim the rewards for something you left unfinished?}
"Alright, I’ve sort of developed a liking to this current body and I’m not letting it go." He muttered then swiped across the transparent panel over to the interface.
{Name: Orion Kyrosis}

{Luck: 2 (fixed stat, how to increase this? Don’t ask me I have no clue also)}
{Charisma:- 8 (slightly higher than average, will increase automatically after "certain" circumstances, that aside? just leave it}
{Skills: sprint, lightning swipe, fast reflexes, lightning elemental affinity}
"Good enough, I’ll survive this."
{Wow, looks like I’ll have to reshape my opinion of you!}
’I am not that complex, I follow a simple rule, what I wish to do I’ll do it, if I don’t I won’t. What I want to get I will, if I don’t I won’t.’
’And for this? I want to do it so I will!’ he thought then steeled his heart and dashed forward to clash head-on with the cannon’s beam.
{A nice tactic?}
"Lightning beams, you see back on my planet lightning can be used to generate electricity and electricity can generate itself also, why should I be scared of a weapon that attacks with electricity?"
{You’ll overload yourself, the surge would be too much for you to handle}
"Don’t worry about that, I’ll find a way to sort it out." He said then took a leap into the air, his right foot levitating slightly from the ground while his spine lit up with crackles of lightning.
"All units step back from the zone of impact, withdraw the ground troops and prepare for the worst case scenario, activate project Jedraes and stay on standby!"
"3....."
"2..."
"1.."
Booooooommmmmmm!!!!!
A huge blast of energy generated from electricity concentrated down into it’s most minute form rushed down on Draxus, the force threw him backwards and tore his skin apart, all the structures with over ten meters around him were scorched into ashes and turned black, even the XXS-cannon had its muzzle jagged and wrecked beyond repair after that single shot.
The shockwave from that attack and the impact it had on the little battlefield that had been created within minutes brought the same thought to the minds of all those paying attention to the intruder.
’He’s Dead!’
"No one’s surviving that blast head-on, I assumed he would flee once it began charging up and we would only need it as a threat function but he actually rushed forward like a castrated bull."
"Withdraw the cannons and the troops, prepare for evacuation within a few days. We can’t stay here for long." The General said then turned around, intending to leave the control room when the staff called his attention once again.
"General you need to see this, I think he’s still alive."
"Do you know what you’re saying Alex? How could he possibly still be alive after that?"
{Alert! Alert! The bunker is in danger, activating red mode and deploying all defensive measures!} The artificial intelligence in charge of the bunker’s military duties Rex blared repeatedly, seizing control and rerouting the deployment.
"What’s going on?" The general wondered in confusion when a cold voice suddenly came from the screen.
"I told you the first time, I came here for peace but unfortunately our intentions aren’t always well received, I’ll have no choice but to return what you threw to me and even more"
"I’ll call this technique..... The Great Discharge!"
