Victor calmly walked toward the outer defensive region where the wilderness began.

The atmosphere almost felt strangely peaceful.

A female captain eventually approached him with visible admiration inside her eyes.

"Commander, is there anything you require us to do?" she asked respectfully.

Victor turned toward her before revealing a calm smile.

"Just stay safe."

The female captain felt her breathing stop for a moment after seeing that smile. Her heart immediately began pounding uncontrollably within her chest while her face slowly reddened.

"I love him," she muttered absentmindedly.

Another nearby captain instantly smirked after hearing those dangerous words.

"You should not dare say that carelessly. If "She" discovers you are talking about her man like this, you will disappear without leaving behind even a corpse."

The female captain immediately swallowed hard.

Her expression turned pale almost instantly.

The female captain quickly shook her head repeatedly.

"I was joking," she said nervously.

The surrounding officers merely laughed quietly before returning their attention toward Victor.

Meanwhile, Victor continued standing calmly while staring toward the distant wilderness. His hands rested casually inside his pockets while his expression remained completely relaxed.

It looked as though he was merely enjoying fresh air rather than preparing to confront a massive beast tide.

At that moment, Victor had already activated his mana sense.

After advancing into the Novice Rank, the range of his sensory abilities had increased dramatically. Previously, his mana perception could barely extend twenty meters around him.

Now, he could clearly sense everything within a hundred meter radius.

Every fluctuation of mana, every movement of life energy, and every disturbance in the environment entered his awareness naturally.

Then suddenly, Victor sensed three terrifying auras approaching rapidly.

Suddenly, three enormous wolves emerged from the wilderness.

Victor began laughing instead.

He slowly raised his hand toward the sky.

Instantly, violent lightning erupted across the atmosphere.

Then a gigantic eagle formed entirely from lightning emerged above Victor.

The soldiers below stared upward speechlessly.

Now, the lightning eagle continuously absorbed mana from Victor’s body while expanding rapidly. According to the spell description, the eagle should only reach thirty meters after consuming the complete mana reserves of a Legendary Mage.

The eagle continued growing larger.

The surrounding soldiers watched with completely frozen expressions.

The three wolves looked toward Victor triumphantly afterward.

However, Victor merely smiled calmly again.

The next instant, another gigantic lightning eagle formed above him.

The soldiers behind Victor became completely speechless.

"This is not battle anymore."

"This is bullying."

"How is the commander recovering mana fast enough for this?"

"What kind of monstrous talent can convert mana potions this efficiently?"

Meanwhile, the wolves finally began showing fear.

Several gigantic lightning eagles descended upon them simultaneously while unleashing devastating attacks from every direction.

The battlefield seemed completely one sided.

However, just as the soldiers believed victory was guaranteed, the three wolves suddenly raised their heads toward the sky and roared together.

The newly formed chimera possessed three wolf heads connected to a single gigantic body. Black energy continuously leaked from its skin while crimson eyes glowed with terrifying intelligence.

Far away within the depths of the wilderness, several hooded figures silently observed the battlefield.

Dark robes concealed their appearances completely.

One of them slowly revealed a sinister grin.

"It succeeded."

Another figure laughed darkly afterward.

"Now let us see how this prodigy handles an Epic Monster."
