Chapter 27: The Dressing Room Incident III

Mandy’s soft and tender hands roamed across Chrome’s chest as her fingers traced the outline of his muscles through his damp shirt.

Her lips brushed against his ear, hot and insistent.

"Just let me have my way with you~"

Chrome grabbed her wrists and pushed her back firmly.

"Control yourself! I have a girlfriend!"

Mandy’s impish smile only widened. She pressed him against the wall and kept her body tight against his. He could feel the warmth of her tempting curves pressing harder and harder against him like she wanted to melt into him.

"It’s too late to start talking about that now, Chrome."

She raised her slender wrist, showing off a delicate silver bracelet.

A tiny red light pulsed steadily from its center.

"My mother is a very protective woman. She made me wear this dumb panic bracelet. The moment I activate it, her bodyguards come running."

Chrome’s face squeezed into a grimace.

"You wouldn’t dare."

Mandy giggled—a sound like a no-good witch cackling over her cauldron.

"Oh, I would~"

She tapped the bracelet. The red light blinked faster.

"What do you think my guards will think when they find us here? Alone. In a dressing room. You’re sweating, I’m sweating. We’re both attractive people—naturally, they’ll assume we couldn’t keep our hands off each other."

Chrome laughed. Actually laughed.

"Honestly, I don’t think I’ll get in that much trouble. Sure, your parents might give me a slap on the wrist. But think about it—caught in a dressing room with the campus belle? The heiress of Forbes Mall? Add that to my reputation for turning down the Hilton heiress, and I’ll have news stations calling me for an interview."

Mandy’s confident smile flickered.

"Is that so?"

Chrome studied her face. Something was off. This calm, collected lady who always seemed so composed was hesitating. The hand on his chest trembled slightly. Her eyes kept darting away, looking past him like she couldn’t bear to meet his gaze.

’Is it possible she’s not sexually developed either?’

Chrome wondered. She’s been talking big but hasn’t actually done anything convincing.

A real woman looking to get him into trouble would have forced her tongue down his throat by now... if only it were easy to pretend that was scary. Maybe if it was done by a hairy, muscular woman it would be.

To Chrome, being threatened by Mandy is... sexier.

His eyes dropped to her legs.

They were shaking.

Mandy placed a hand on his chest, hesitated, then covered it with a soft chuckle.

"I can twist this story however I want. Trust me, it’ll bring you more trouble than favor. But if you submit to me, do what I want, I’ll let all of this go. Isn’t that much better?"

Chrome raised a brow. "What do you want?"

Mandy leaned in close.

"I want you to be my sex toy."

Chrome’s eyes went blank. "Eh?" ಠ_ಠ

Mandy’s face flushed with irritation.

"Can you not look like that’s the worst thing in the world?"

Chrome remained emotionless.

"Sorry..."

He tried to hide his frown.

"It’s just that I went to a lot of places with my girlfriend today and saw different colors of stupidity. Yet you somehow end up being the rainbow."

Mandy’s expression twisted.

It looked like she wanted to pout, but she held herself.

"You’re going to do what I say."

"No."

Mandy sighed, her shoulders slumping.

"Quinn was right about you. You’re not like other men."

Chrome stayed silent.

"Why are you passing up a chance to get intimate with me? You don’t like Quinn, you don’t want to be with me. So what in the world do you want? I’ll give it to you. All you have to do is be my toy."

Chrome saw the sad, desperate look on her face.

It made him uncomfortable.

Since when is a powerful woman so eager to have a man as her pet? Even Quinn wasn’t this desperate.

He sighed heavily.

"I’m not a fan of rude women. Or women like you who are out of touch with reality. You don’t know how to speak to people. To me, that matters a lot. I refuse to be caught in the same room with a woman so tactless."

Mandy lowered her head. A shaky breath escaped her rosy lips. Then she looked up. Her face was emotionless. But there were tears in her sparkling eyes.

"It’s not my fault I’m this way..."

She whispered like it was hard to say.

"Why do you have to be such a jerk about this?"

[Ding! Host has deeply hurt an innocent woman!]

[The system is proud! Reward: $3,000,000 deposited!]

Chrome stared at the panel in disbelief.

’Innocent? She started all this! If anything, I’m a victim of emotional exhaustion! And why are you so obsessed with making women cry, System?!’

The system remained silent.

Mandy let go of him and turned away.

She sniffled as she folded her arms, adjusting her short hair far too many times.

That was lady-speak for something not being right.

She looked over her shoulder.

"If you want to leave, you can. You already think I’m a horrible person. Get out before my guards get here and—"

BAM!

The sound of heavy boots echoed through the hallway.

A tall woman in a black suit stormed into the area, flanked by a dozen similarly dressed guards.

"Find her! The tracker signal led here! Don’t leave a single dressing room unsearched! Is that clear?!"

"YES, MA’AM!"

The guards saluted and began throwing open doors.

"Hey! I’m changing in here!"

"SOME PRIVACY, PLEASE!"

"This is outrageous!"

The guards ignored every complaint, systematically checking each room.

Across the mall, Olivia Hilton watched the commotion with narrowed eyes.

"He must be behind this!"

Henrietta sighed. "Madam, you need some rest—"

"NO! I must crush that man before I go anywhere! I won’t let that philanderer get away with stealing my daughter’s time and focus! How dare he reject her?!"

Henrietta’s patience finally broke.

"Madam, stop obsessing over this man! You have a board meeting in thirty minutes!"

She pointed firmly toward the exit.

Olivia hesitated, then sighed.

"Fine."

The elegant beauty turned and strode away.

Back in the dressing room, Chrome and Mandy peeked like tiny rats through the crack in the door.

The guards were getting closer.

"Great. More trouble..." Chrome muttered.

Mandy sighed.

"I did tell you to leave. Now you’re going to get in trouble and I have no leverage to gain here."

"Is everything about leverage with you?"

"Yes."

They started bickering in low voices.

"You’re the one who dragged me in here!"

"You could have refused!"

"I DID refuse! Multiple times!"

"Then why are you still here?!"

The guards’ footsteps grew louder.

Chrome’s eyes darted around the cramped space.

"I have an idea."

"That’s good for you—"

He didn’t let her finish.

Grabbing her shoulders, he spun her around and pinned her against the wall.

"Wha—!"

Mandy tried to break free.

But Chrome was much stronger than her.

Her eyes widened in genuine shock.

’I didn’t know he was this strong... was he holding back all this time? This man...’

The dressing room door swung open.
